I think it could easily have a 10 year life cycle. If you think how long it will take for indie developers to make games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Deck should be a viable platform at least that long. Vita would still be a viable platform today if it still got indie ports within its hardware spec. But Deck wont rely on specifically targeted ports.

There aren't a bunch of PC games that look better than Returnal. It's in the ballpark of like Jedi Fallen Order with a lot more particle effects and dynamic lighting.

I was interested to see if Stadia could become a 3rd major AAA platform. Their whole system works really well but it looks like yet another generation of dominance for Playstation.

I don't think 5G was ever pitched to be faster an a wifi connection. It's a generation advance on 4g which at its best is like 25Mb/s for me. 250Mb/s would be a huge upgrade, and that's still way lower than last generation wifi.

The Switch version of this game is a stream code and still doesn't have ray tracing.

I already played half this game on PC, but my gpu can't do RTX (vega 56). So I'm down to replay it, and also I could see the dualsense being incredible in this game.

There's still a lot of stranded PS3 games. Notably MGS4, Puppeteer, Killzone 2/3, and the Motor Storm series. A huge one would be Red Dead Redemption.

Getting my PS5 next week, and plan to play mostly PS4 games on it Hopefully Death Stranding gets a PS5 patch to bring it up to high end PC performance.

Vita deserved better. Vastly superior hardware to the PSP. The "bubbles" menu UI was dogshit, but the system features are overall more advanced than Switch. It had cross game party chat at launch. It is really bizarre how Sony just put the thing out with seemingly no gameplan. For me, it was the proprietary memory stick that was the fatal design flaw. Just an incredibly stupid, greedy move on Sony's part. And the atrocious piece of shit game they slapped the CALL OF DUTY brand on was the kiss of death. I still say a console-quality Call of Duty game would've made the Vita.
