Again. There is no point in releasing a successor if it's just going to be slightly more powerful. Do you not think Nintendo wants their big AAA games to run at 60fps? They would definitely make TOTK a 60fps 1080p/1440p game if their hardware could do it. Why make another console with the same abilities as the previous one? Ass rumors suggest it's going to be the same concept with more power. 

If Prime 4 matched Killzone 2, you'd have to call it a win. Of course it's not gonna come close to the best PS4 shooters like Titanfall 2 or Destiny 2. Not because the hardware is impossible (both run good on Deck), but because Nintendo can't produce games like this anymore.

Let's say they do. Do you think Nintendo has going to make games at the level of AAA production as Ghost of Tsushima? Of course they can't do this. So why bundle in a bunch of finicky hardware that they have no plans to use? This company is currently touting a 2D Mario as their big Christmas game. Wonder could just as easily run on a GameCube.

If WiiU was more powerful that PS3 there would be evidence supporting it. There fucking isn't. Nothing on WiiU comes close to Uncharted 2/3, Killzone 2/3, Last of Us, God of War 3, MGS4, Infamous 2, Motorstorm 2/3, etc.

I wouldn't care if it was, it's just so obvious that it won't. The proof is the Steam Deck itself. Nintendo would never release a handheld with Deck's compromises to grown adults. A Nintendo handheld needs to be kid-proof, much lighter/smaller, no buzzing fans, at least 3 or 4 hours battery, and cheap.

Even with mobile/ARM efficiencies, an extra year of process node advancement and DLSS, Nintendo cannot produce hardware matching Deck performance while also meeting their specific goals.

There's also deep denial about how far behind Switch 1 was. Look at Apex Legends on that thing compared to PS4 and tell me there isn't huge room for improvement between them.

Switch played a shitty looking busted version of Witcher 3. Switch 2 will play a decent version of Witcher 3 on medium settings.

Nintendo games don't appeal to me at all.

Playstation games definitely appeal to me, and Playstation hardware drives innovation. PS5 is what Valve is trying to catch up with.

This cross-gen period convinced me to stop buying consoles at launch. I'm sticking with PC at least until the 2nd wave of exclusives, and maybe the Pro refresh.

Starting gun triggers a race. The expectation of speed. Even if Starfield is good, what's the next good one? When is it coming?

Imagine having the biggest game of the year exclusive to PS5.

Kind of my experience too. It's structured like a survival game. Way more like Rust or Subnautica than Starfield. I understand they've added a ton of content since launch, but the opening section still plays the same imo and I give up early every time I try it.

I need to see Baldurs Gate through before I get distracted by another massive game. The part I've played so far is not a flop imo. It seems worth playing.
