A major point of the Bungie purchase is to assist the whole 1st party in integrating online services. It's Nintendo's deep failure that they didn't use the Niantic/Go experience to improve their decrepit online capabilities.

It's so imbalanced at this point. For a while after Uncharted 2, Naughty Dog seemed like 2 steps ahead of every other studio. Now they're only 1 step ahead, and other Sony teams (Guerrilla, Sucker Punch, Insomniac, SSM) have pulled ahead of the industry. The only teams capable of competing with Playstation's top 5 are Rockstar and Valve.
