  1. Oh shit, Michael Pena. Not looking forward to how that character ends, though.
  2. The moment , this is all I've wanted from the show.
  3. PS4 getting more PC scraps a year late. Bet all the cows here end up with Brian.
  4. Sold off my cannabis stocks yesterday.
  5. I mean the whole discussion started with Diplo's post about Microsoft shitting out mediocre first party games to keep people subscribed to GamePass, which is a pretty apt comparison to Netflix. I'm sorry you couldn't keep up.
  6. You were suggesting my logic for liking Netflix despite the mediocrity would apply to GamePass, so I was explaining why it wouldn't. I've been subbed to Netflix for years, so the back catalog doesn't get much attention from me. I had GamePass for four months and got way more than $30 (first month free with console and I actually redeemed MS points for the 3 month sub after, but that's what I would have spent) of enjoyment out of it, so I hold no ill will towards the service from the perspective of a new console owner or anybody that just hasn't played the games. I mean imagine bein
  7. You're welcome. If GamePass had a new, exclusive game every week then yeah, absolutely. Games have different production requirements which makes that not really fair to expect, so if GamePass had a new, exclusive game at intervals substantially shorter than the competition then it wouldn't suck based on what I said about Netflix. However, Microsoft puts out fewer games than Sony/Nintendo, so really they're a mix of HBO and Netflix in that they inundate you with mediocrity like Netflix and release content slower than the competition like HBO. It's like if Game of Thrones had
  8. I get your point with regards to it being a regular occurrence and a "so why this one instead of the previous one or the next one?" kind of deal since I wouldn't expect them to do it for every Forza game or really even every Horizon game. Admittedly, I'm struggling to justify it from the angle. For me, though, I just don't view special editions as a big deal that should be saved for a handful of games. I'm not saying make one for every game out there, but if a game has a certain style I think having a physical canvas to kind of show off that style is a neat little throw in for thes
  9. Netflix doesn't suck, they've just taken a quantity over quality approach to their original content to keep people subscribed as studios start launching their own services. Mediocre also doesn't mean bad, especially when Netflix's approach means a much higher number of movies/shows in various genres/settings that you might really enjoy and see pop up much less often elsewhere. Altered Carbon wasn't great, but as somebody with both Blade Runner movies in my top 10 it was really nice to get more well produced cyberpunk. HBO has better original content, IMO, but there's far less of it
  10. Because it's MS' biggest game of the year and a game that makes such great use of style. They even already had a great looking, racing inspired console for this year's Game4Paul charity event. That thing is sexy as fuck. Can't just use that because it would fuck with the whole raffle aspect behind it, but swap the colour from blue to a rustic red and the tire tread to the blowing leaves thing the boxart has going on and god damn that'd be a sexy console.
  11. Yeah, we know. That's the point; it should be.
  12. Seriously, how do they not throw in a unique console? Or even a unique controller? They have the design lab ffs.
  13. It could have one good game every two years and you'd still act like it's God's gift to gaming.
  14. If it can have a new game every week like Netflix has new shows/movies, sure. Take enough swings and you're bound to get a hit.
  15. They have some great TV shows, but a far larger number of mediocre ones. Their movies are almost universally terrible.
  16. They really are trying to be the Netflix of the gaming world.
  17. Idk, kinda seems like it's the single player content with side missions and shit rather than 60 hours of mandatory campaign missions to see the credits.
  18. I'd guess Gearbox. Certain Affinity has the history, but why would anybody tease that? They're a support studio that hasn't made a game in 7 years with some shitty F2P phone game publisher funding their next game.
