Carell's a hell of an actor, so I'm just gonna chalk it up to a trailer where he's not in it much. The extent Bale goes through with these transformations is a little scary. Like I feel dirty giving money to movies like American Hustle or The Fighter because that shit ain't healthy.

Bale and Rockwell are spot on. Carell just looks like he's playing his Anchorman character, though.
