I had the same exact reaction as you when I played it the first time. Then I read around that Exodus is not an openworld game. So I went back with that mentality and had a blast. Go where they tell you and don't stray far from your path. If you do, the world is extremely tough. You will run out of filters and ammo quick.

Got past the first part in the snowy area. I didn't understand the game. I was playing it like an openworld game. It's more linear like the old Metro games. You also gotta be mindful of the time of the day. No beasts or weird creatures during the day but the human enemies are awake and patrolling. During the night, humans are sleeping or patrolling lightly but all kinds of weird shit come out. That mission of retrieving the passenger car for the Aurora. Fucking amazing game so far.

Hopefully they will put EA games once that EA gamepass flops.

Nah. Ubisoft's open world formula is incredibly padded by 5 different activity sets and main missions. Rockstar is still the king of open world games.

For a really good game I wouldn't do it, but for this woke ass piece of shit infested political "game"...Then fuck them. This was a slap in the face for everyone who liked that game.
