I can just imagine what Nintendo, Monolith Soft (Xenoblade), and Next Level Games (Luigi's Mansion 3) will be able to do with this new hardware.  It's going to be insane.  Luigi's Mansion 3 absolutely holds its own along last gen/current gen games IMO.  The Xenoblade games are extremely ambitious and technological marvels for the hardware.. and well... Nintendo is straight forward.  They always bring high quality beautiful graphics.

 

Switch 2 will be a beast.

yeah, and TOTK was a technical marvel. it would be cool revisiting it with updated visuals.

day 1. i love mobile devices.  my expectations for its graphics are pretty low and realistic.  but ninty games with improved visuals are always welcomed.

Yeah, Goggins and the overall lore were stellar. What the show lacked in dialog, it made up for with world building and delicious gore. I dug the dark humor too. It was a significantly more fun ride than TLOU. 

Mike is clean now and was born to fight. I have trained with 60+ year-old fighters. They are usually better than the youngins because of experience.

Lightroom Classic on my Mac. I think my love for gaming is morphing into a love for color grading pics  (something I enjoyed with films). I can’t seem to get past the 5 minute mark in a game now.

lol gaming sites are just for stupid sw fodder. i played starfield and found it to be a dull mess. it's like....there were parts of a great game, but they were slapped together in a frankenstein kind of way. awful load times, clunky interface, terrible ship navigation. maybe it was improved after launch, but it just wasn't good when i played it.

that is all.

Without spoiling much the game in general actually reminded me quite a bit of SOMA.

They did just release the game on consoles but I heard the controls aren't great, its definitely designed for a mouse. However it might work well on a Steam Deck when using the trackpads if you want to give it a try.

What an awesome surprise this ended up being. I can't believe I glazed over this game so many times since the original release last year, all because of the dumb title.

 

i'd say maybe 15% of the puzzles are kind of bullshit and illogical but everything else about the game is great. Atmosphere, Characters, story, and the fucked up setting and imagery. The game is dark in ways I wasn't expecting but was pleasantly surprised by.

 

I don't want to go into more detail than that because I went into the game almost blind and I think thats the best way to experience it. All in all I think this is the best adventure game i've played since SOMA.

i don't trust any gaming sites anymore. hell, even certain youtubers i like are shills (looks at fightin cowboy and lords of the fallen lol). the game looks cool, but i will play it when it's cheap. i have a crazy ass backload and my gaming time is basically 0 (unless it's something i can play on my steam deck). doesn't the elden ring dlc drop next month?
