  1. going to retry this on sunday, but with different games. i was able to play zelda this afternoon on the switch undocked with no problems. edit: i hope i won't have any issues, since i absolutely love steam os, the hardware itself (godly joysticks and quality build) and what it's capable of.
  2. yeah, i have seen that in several reviews, even ones favoring the ROG for its potential.
  3. i did the first 2 shrines. ultrahand and fuse are pretty cool.
  4. man, i need to give that game another go. i dug what i played and i definitely thought the audio/dualsense was next level.
  5. the dualsense definitely adds an extra layer of immersion.
  6. to be fair, zelda seems free of bugs, unlike bugfall. but yeah, the framerate drops sound pretty intense in spots.
  7. Yup. I had the same problem with the most recent Kirby and Marin Rabbids. I haven’t played an undocked game in a while.
  8. This game is gorgeous! I tried it on handheld mode. Ninty truly knows how to optimize hardware. unfortunately, like with re 8 on Steam Deck, I got a bit of motion sickness pretty early in. I guess I’ll have to play it docked. I don’t think I’ll be able to play much until Sunday
  9. I would hope so. I’d say the Deck is comparable to the Ps4/ Xbox series S, so most likely, especially since it’s not coming out for at least another year.
  10. Have fun, Casual and Ghostz. I’ll give it a whirl tomorrow afternoon.
  11. Yeah, it’s definitely a huge jump over switch. I was surprised by how good RE 8 looked and ran.
  12. Nah. The images are so crisp, that it’s overwhelming on that small screen.
  13. The machine is incredible. It’s snappy and feels like a true handheld. I was able to play the RE 8 demo within 30 minutes (after initial updates). I played both performance/quality presets. The game looked and played great in both (pretty incredible in quality), and ran nicely too! But…. I got motion sickness from it, just like I did with the most recent kirby and Mario rabbid games on Switch (had to play it docked) . I think my days of playing on a handheld has come to an end. I will see how I handle Zelda tomorrow. My stomach is still turning. I guess I will go the gami
  14. Sounds about right. Or it will have some added visual features from the newer cards. But TF-wise, sounds about right.
  15. this! i can do my job with my eyes closed, which wasn't the case when i first started. there's a steep learning curve with all of the systems we use, along with video editing, composting, sound designing and copy writing.
  16. haha nah, it's one of the perks of being a boss. i can pretty much set my own hours, as long as i get my shit done on time.
  17. this review is great https://www.gfinityesports.com/reviews/zelda-tears-of-the-kingdom-review/ "If you’ve yet to step foot into the open world of Hyrule, Tears of the Kingdom is the best way to experience it, with just enough new ground to keep things interesting. But if you didn’t gel with the 2017 release, the story alone might not be worth the second attempt. " at least homeboy properly articulates why he doesn't like it. i'll see where i fall over the next few weeks.
