  1. i would consider using machines, but isometrically. for example, alternate arms when doing the bicep machines, instead of using both arms simultaneously.
  2. the first is sooooo much better with the revamped visuals and 60 fps. it's still doesn't play as great as 2 and 3, but the campaign was dope!
  3. yup, that's it man! that ramp up is perfect for hitting new PRs.
  4. WTF? i loved his work so much. even his shitty shows/movies were usually salvaged somewhat by him. fuck.
  5. 5X5 (or just staying in the 4-6 rep range) is perfect for strength. look into good "ramp up" warmups. t nation had a great one i used regularly. it should be easy to find via google. also, avoid failure. since you are training for strength and not hypertrophy, you want to stimulate, not annihilate, the muscles. when 5x5 gets to be too easy, learn to program the big 5 lifts, so they are done 3 times a week. great job btw!
  6. that was cool and all. the original just felt more raw. it could also be nostalgia.
  7. i tried replaying 4, numerous times, years after the novelty of it wore off. mind you, i used to speedrun it (yes, i was a big game nerd back then). it just felt clunky compared to the titles it inspired. maybe i'll get it when it hits $20.
  8. For me, RE 1 is king, especially the GC remake. Blew my mind! But OG RE got me back into gaming in 1998 (I had stopped playing for a few years).
  9. I’m happy for the fans. lol at the 30+ hours to complete in the GS review. I beat the original in like 13 on my first playthrough. I think the pic is still in my old photobucket account lol. edit: it is. Damn, lots of old SW pics there
  10. 3 has a shit load of save points. it's basically Souls Ring. But yeah, wait until you are in the mood for it. check out some of the bosses. the designs are gorgeous!
  11. I get it man. Each game always takes a bit to grab me. But once they do, it’s like crack!
  12. the beginning is a bit daunting. however, once you get in the groove, it's extremely fair and awesome.
  13. thanks man! yeah, my lothrick knight sword +7 (i forget what my shield is) is great for fast moving opponents. magic sucks when there's too much movement. though, it's godly for slower battles. my sorcerer's cast is +9 and i have 40 int. i can melt a lot of enemies. i'd be even more powerful if i had access to the crystal spells. those OWN!
  14. I just reached the catacombs in Dark Souls 3. So far, I've beaten 7 main bosses (one super hard one - Dancer - that I didn't know was a late game boss, which explains why I died like 20 times in the process lol). It took a little farming (I found the godliest spot - right after beating Dancer), but I now have a pretty sick INT/DEX hybrid build, with enough strength to use solid swords and shields. I have ok armor, but I don't want to go heavier since I don't want to fat roll (is that even politically correct to say now? lol). Anyhow, I can see how this was a pre-template for Elden Ring. Struct
  15. the game is as good, and as elaborate, as you make it. i recommend using a guide on your second/third playthroughs, if you want to see some pretty big changes in the story.
  16. i normally wouldn't mind spending another $500 for a pro - even if it was this year. However, we never got the first years of next gen (Thanks, Covid). Too many cross-platform games. So yeah, I would like to wait a few more years.
  17. I highly doubt this. Ps5 has insane momentum right now.
