Finished Dark Matter. That was a wild ending! One of the better sci-fi limited series.

Watched about 6 episodes of Dark Matter. It’s definitely one of the better multiverse shows/movies out there. It kind of reminds me of the excellent film Coherence.

I went to planet fitness 5 times this week. I actually like machines now (mainly the chest press, shoulder press, rows, leg press, hamstring curl and lat pull down). I ended up getting a membership, since it’s only $25 a month. If I feel like doing dumbbells, I can train at home. I added some cable work for arms, since I don’t really train them (my arms are big because of genetics). edit: I use each machine, unilaterally, to prevent imbalances.

great question. you can literally take as many days as you want. i found out about this too late, but i did max out a decent amount of people. in hindsight, 5-10 more hangout days would have been ideal. it takes 3 to 4 hangouts to max most characters. it's not nearly as deep as persona. however, you get essential skills, access to dungeons and other perks for doing them. pro tip: try to max out your stats with familiarity and renown being top priority. amusement and relaxation are about equal. once you hit 200 on a stat, move onto another. edit: then bump the first 2 stats to 300.

as disappointing as that god of war games was (horrific hand-holding), hb 2 makes it feel like a 10/10 masterpiece.

that's funny you mention that. after playing the portal, i have decided that i want to give it a try. i would only spend the $100 since i really enjoyed the comfort and feel of the portal. but who knows? maybe chiaki will be enough for me.
