Nah. I have beaten the game. You get some shimmering on moss or wet stones (quite minor) and a bit on shiny corridor reflection maps (this is where ray tracing would have been a godsend). However, it looks pretty damn fantastic, overall. I’d say it reminds me of forza horizon 5, in the sense that it balances geometry, scale, surface materials and lighting better than 99% of games out there. As for these “people” you are referencing…I’ll take DF over them any day. Their breakdown is spot on.

Ratchet is easily the best looking game. No doubt about that.

The game is simply stunning in resolution mode…not so much in performance.

I figured it didn’t have true co-op (has any souls game?). Still, it would have been incentive for me to give it a go.

Is this true co-op? I’d be down to play this with another player, since I suck at From Soft games.

Yeah, I have a video game hangover

Finished the campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed how the last act played out. The ending was satisfying. I won’t say whether or not it felt definitive (due to spoilers). I look forward to checking out the side stuff. I won’t give it a score yet, because I need to see the other aspects of the world. However, I clearly loved the campaign enough to put 14 hours into it today (20 hours total).

I’m glad I just ran through the campaign then. The progression system is consistent. I’ll be more than glad to crush those quests while I’m overpowered

First few hours? Shiii I’m like 16 hours in. I will say the first 1/4 of the campaign feels like a prettier retread to zero dawn. The game becomes significantly better as it progresses, though. Even Aloy develops a personality lol. I have only been doing the main missions and I only have several left. So, without any side stuff, you have a solid, well-diversified 20 hours (based on how long each mission runs). After I beat it, I want to spend dozens of hours checking out the stuff I missed. I have passed villages that look so wild and populated, yet haven’t played a part in the campaign. I’m w
