I had faith in the new Matrix flick because Lana did most of season 2 of Sense8, and I loved that season (huge improvement over 1).

I liked Cloud Atlas. Jupiter is….beyond awful.

spot on! though, 3 was a mindless cgi-fest. at least the meta aspect of resurrection was well done (even, ironically, poking fun at pointless sequels - like the movie itself). but yeah, it all felt very cheap, on a production level.

the patch apparently made a big difference, but imo the AI was still wonky. it was more about the sick mechanics, level design and overall vibe for me.

do they at least play the same? i actually love persona's combat.

let's put it this way...you probably already know how it will end. i'm fine with the conclusion, but it's how they got there that's a total mess. dissected, there are some really cool parts/ideas. however, assembled, it's not cohesive. also, most of the humor falls flat. maybe you'll think otherwise. the movie is definitely better than the third matrix (i literally gave it a 0/10). the second was a better film imo, but that's not saying much. the franchise, in my mind, ended with the original.

the high wore off once i realized i was playing b-tier ubisoft side missions.
