I loved halo 4. I never understood the hate.

Thank goodness, because that’s the driving force for me. I love the tension and all..but it means shit if I dislike the characters lol. White horse was a masterpiece, though. Wow!

I’m on episode 6 of black summer season 2. Aside from the amazing white horse episode, this has been solid, but not nearly as good as 1. I’m still into it, because of the vibe, but the main characters aren’t resonating with me (aside from spears) like they did in the first season. Also, the story is too disjointed for its own good. I feel like season 1 nailed the formula perfectly.

Returnal is fun af, but I don’t know if it’s a game for me (long term). I put another hour in tonight. I had a solid 30 minute run too. It’s crazy how much you see/do in such a short span. The combat really is as good as everyone says. It’s so fluid and fun. I’ll keep playing to see how it fares over time. But yeah, it has the best third person shooting mechanics by a mile!

i played it last night. the controls are incredible! i kept getting my ass handed to me, so i can't comment on progression. i will play it more this weekend.

yeah, that's why i bought it. i want the ps5 visuals. i don't care for the extra content (why i didn't get intergrade), since i'm not invested in this franchise. this will, hopefully, be the first FF i can tolerate for more than an hour.
