aside from the gratuitous gore in MK 1 and 2, and soul caliber's insane visuals for the dreamcast, i've never been drawn to fighting games. i hated street fighter 2, even though all of my friends were playing it in the arcade.

it's a great system.

nice! yeah, the videos of 1998 made it look right up my alley. i love the c tier acting and slower pace. i'm sick of these action re games.

eh, i guess. i played 1 and 2 in the arcades, back in the day. maybe i was too young to appreciate them.

2 isn't as fun, but it's pretty intense, poetic and doubles down on the sex. you can skip 3. borrrrrring.

i didn't care for the FF7 (i think i played it for an hour) back in the day, so i think i may like the newer version, since i have no nostalgia for the franchise.

yeah, plus my games are mostly digital now. i just use the controller to power the system on/off. my system always looks clean.

the og ps3 was always smudgy. yuck. ugly ass foreman grill. i'm actually surprised by how much the series x's design has grown on me (after the official unveiling). also, i feel like it's a better thought-out system than the ps5.

nah bro, the series x is gorgeous in person and it doesn't smudge. it feels compact and sturdy, reminding me of the ruggedness of the OG xbox. i wish the ps5 was black, but fuck it, i have it set up so you don't see it. it's like paper-bagging an ugly bitch

it could still be fun. on a side note, while i know I'LL LOVE ratchet, it could easily flop. one could say it's the same formula with a new gimmick. i'm ok with that (plus it's gorgeous!), but critics may not be. it's a franchise that tends to get 8's. i would not be surprised if it gets an 8 at gs.

nah, the indoor areas look significantly better in TLOU 2. way better surface materials, lighting, character models (minus abby) and animations. but, i'm just talking about the ps4 pro version of these games. days gone looks significantly overhauled for the pc.

maybe the pc version looks better. i thought TLOU 2 looked night/day better, in gameplay too, than days gone. on a side note, i think the TLOU 2 update for ps5 was half-assed. the motion blur is all fucked up. it doesn't have that cinematic feel it had on the ps4 pro.

i tried so hard to get into it. in the end, it felt too "b party"... it looks great on your pc, though.

SOTN was the only one i loved, because of the inverted castle. fucking genius! but yeah, i agree. and i know i'm in the minority here, but i would love another zelda 2: adventures of link. i never understood the hate.
