yeah, the quick resume is garbo on the ps5. they need to fix that shit. the series x handled it perfectly.

i'm not a fan of systems, but rather games, so i think this is going to be a pass. this is why i like a review's content more than scores.

you can quick resume if the game is in sleep mode. however, "no save" SUCKS, considering how long the runs can be.

yeah, that bugs me. i'd be ok with save points and/or shorter runs. i was hoping this was a horror version of hades. this sounds like a souls-like, rogue-lite game.

this review makes me think it's not for me: https://www.indiewire.com/2021/04/returnal-review-ps5-1234634128/ while they gave it a 10/10, i think it sucks that runs can be as long as 2 hours...yet you may get jack shit, in terms of building up your character. in hades, runs were like 20-30 minutes, and you'd always unlock something new. i need to read more reviews. i'm too old/tired for masochist gaming.

the gameplay reminds me of recore, except it's fast and fluid here. it actually looks like a total blast. i can't say if the gameplay is AAA until i play it, but it looks awesome.

i don't know the spoilers, but i'll check them out, once i beat it, and let you know if they are true. i'm starting it tomorrow night.

i know some ugly troll bitches who compete on pc. however, the good looking ones (a few hags too) all rock playstation. why? no clue. maybe it's because they are casual (into gaming just to turn on dudes with their streams) and it's cheaper to buy a ps4 than a pc. but yeah, they are posting DLC/skins/how-sexy-they-look-with-a-headset in their IG stories. a lot of them have a twitch account too.

it's also crazy how many women like call of duty.

i can't say i'm surprised. i've met a bunch of gamer chicks during the pandemic. some of them are hot af! every single one of them (except one) play multiplayer games on the ps4. they would try to get me to play, but i hate that stuff.
