yeah, i think totk burnt me out. i haven't even returned to it after beating it. i would like to do more shrines, though. but i probably forgot the flow of the controls.

aside from totk and the spectacular viewfinder, i've mostly played soulborne games lol.

it's almost too overwhelming, that i don't even know where to begin lol.

watched painkiller on netflix. it's very good, but dopesick just resonated with me more.

that sucks. i tried playing the myst sequels and stopped for that reason lol. the puzzles were just too obscure and required way too much trial and error.

that's what i'm hoping for. there was a time when i was a filthy lemming lol. i think sony has gotten too comfortable and it would be good for MS to apply some pressure (much like sony did when it rebounded in the second half of the ps3/360 gen).

were the puzzles "myst-level" obtuse? man...i remember it taking me forever to beat that game. some of the solutions were by luck

I’m pretty much just a fan of games. If I had to “pick a side”, I’d probably pick Nintendo, due to their frequency and quality of exclusives. But Switch lacks many key third party games, so that’s where Sony and MS come in, with key multiplats. Sony definitely has exclusives I like, but not as many as they used to. MS is basically rebuilding their Xbox brand. I’m hoping Starfield delivers and is a sign of more quality to come.

Ha, thanks for the heads up. There will be a time when I have 100-120 hours to invest in a game. I’ve just been busy AF, though. I totally dig your enthusiasm for it.

Lmfao! That’s awesome! I used some of his videos to help me get the platinum in ER. Every now and then, I’ll watch a random souls vid, since he uses STR builds and I use mage/dex ones. It makes me want to replay the games with his different strategies.

What has ND been up to? Last gen, we got UC 4, UC LL and TLOU 2. This gen, 3 years in, nothing (not counting TLOU remake). The volume of Sony 1st party seems to be down.

Who needs games then you’re number 1 in sales? aside from Spider-Man, nada. MS and Nintendo have a better looking fall.
