  1. All I can say is this - this makes “linecharted” from ps3 feel open world. These invisible walls are rough. However, I know it’s the price to pay for these visuals, which are pretty great. Combat is idiotic. Parry, parry, parry, strike, strike, strike (kill animation). It does look cool, but too much hand-holding. If UC3 had an “interactive butler”, this game has the 2.0 edition. as for the voices, they sound great with headphones. so far, it’s more of an experience than a game.
  2. Playing this FLOP. Let’s see how it is.
  3. so, i was able to put a few hours into lorelei and the laser eyes. there's a cool, non-linear aspect to the puzzles. some of them have been a lot of fun, and come off as hard, until you realize that the solution, or at least a major clue, is close by. i have absolutely no idea where this game is going, but i'm genuinely intrigued. i'm going on vacation this weekend, so i doubt i'll be able to play much until tuesday, but i look forward to exploring more. i had a lot of fun with the movie poster puzzles.
  4. that's fair. you get used to it. it reminds me of playing older adventure games on the SD. there are some UI quirks, but they become second nature. it's definitely a game you play when you want to stimulate the mind. it's not a chill puzzle game.
  5. yeah, they are a bit math heavy in the tutorial, but then they change up.
  6. the hype. 1,3 and reach were a lot of fun. infinite was somehow worse than 5.
  7. @Twinblade Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is a banger. the curiosity got the best of me.
  8. Halo Infinite is one of the worst games I’ve played this gen. A string of Ubisoft C-tier fetch quests.
  9. I saw it. Looks wild AF
  10. oh, it's no doubt the best looking game. no doubt about that.
  11. i will say, after everything i've seen on this walking simulator, it is truly the most spectacular looking title out there. sure, the claustrophobic level design helps. however, the dev team delivered a ue5 title that matches that amazing tomb raider-like tech demo from several years ago.
  12. well, it's not hard to do when there's no real gameplay lol. it reminds me of the stunning robot junkyard scene in detroit. it was easily the best visuals, but all you did walk walk through a linear path. still, i look forward to watching this pretty flop.
  13. all in all, burnhouse lane was a top tier horror adventure game, with some of the most memorable moments in gaming. 10/10.
  14. i got a much better ending by just accepting my fate. i wonder what they best ending is. i'm going to youtube it. edit: the golden ending is so much better. i skimmed through it.
  15. @Twinblade i beat burnhouse lane. i got such a bad ending because i thought was a cunt and deserved to die. i'm re-doing the final part, hoping i get a better ending
  16. In many cases, sure. However, watching the Yankees play the Sox at Fenway was an epic experience. I felt the 100+ years of history in the air. Also, I loved seeing fans of each respective team fuck with the other.
  17. I had already purchased it. It’s my next game btw, I’m on the final chapter of burnhouse. Mr. Fox was a dope character!
  18. Oh yeah! The newest one is the best one. But Cat Lady is an epic start. It’s cool seeing the growth with their games.
  19. I wonder where I’ll fall with this. I definitely look forward to seeing my series X pushed to the max. However, after playing a string of some of the best horror adventure games (thanks to @Twinblade), I wonder if I’ll be on edge with this. I’m probably going to have to wait until next weekend to give this a go. My GF practically lives with me now, so game time at home is practically non-existent.
