it was amazing! so far, i have 0 issues with this game: it's gorgeous, has incredible tension/atmosphere, solid writing/acting, is twisted AF, with its trademark dark humor. i feel like it's a culmination of everything i have liked from their previous games.

that's pretty much the one reason i'll play it. it's definitely a series x showcase. i'm not much of a graphics whore now, but i still appreciate nice visuals on occasion.

Maybe they tried some new concepts, but they weren’t working, so they slapped this together.

I read about 5 reviews. It seems likes it’s more of the same, but somehow has more streamlined combat, easier puzzles (not like the first even had anything remotely hard) and with less varied environments. The reviews seem mixed on the voices gimmick. The graphics sound great. I’ll knock it out when I have 4 to 5 hours to spare.
