  1. super disappointed by this, but i figured this was going to happen. fucking major bummer, but yeah....we have way bigger problems than a video game.
  2. yeah, i know tank looking dudes who can't do more than 5 either. but hey, to each is own. i've been leaning more towards "prison style" training in the last 10 years, due to limited equipment (if i was sleeping over a gf's place - but wanted to train the AM), and because i actually like body weight training (a lot easier on the joints too). it's funny seeing my gym friends losing their minds, right now, because they can't get access to a squat rack or a bench.
  3. a lot of that can be remedied with a stronger core. you can have huge lats and biceps, but will struggle with the pull up if you have a weak core. but for some guys, they are fine with that. everyone has a personal goal, whether its overall fitness, or just a particular component of it. on a side note powerlifters will improve their lifts by working in some calisthenics and mobility work.
  4. there's a psychological component. like...there's an extremely satisfying feeling of being able to deadlift 425/squat 350/ bench 250....or dropping down to 6% bodyfat...or mastering a muscle up or one arm pull up. yes, some women like lean men. others like huge ones. however, a lot of my friends who train don't do it for the women. they do it to achieve a sense of accomplishment.
  5. you can have a good amount of muscle and still be extremely flexible and agile. dominik sky is jacked and is basically superman. great video, in general.
  6. Nah, some sounds to smooth out abrupt changes. Some of the pads are loud too. I wanted to import it into Logic to EQ everything properly. I also wanted to add more processing to the drums. It’s all good man

  11. i'm thinking of getting persona 5 royal. i've beaten the first, own an unopened collector's edition as well, yet i think i may triple dip. i just want to get consumed in its world, especially with all of the enhancements (apparently, mementos is actually good now).
  12. man, i envy you. i puke when i eat before i train. so i train fasted in the morning. and yeah, a good pre-workout meal can offset the hunger from a high volume workout. it keeps your insulin/cortisol levels in check.

  15. haha true. well there's always surgery. i've seen some bad jobs, but some great ones too. a few of our reporters have gotten good work done (probably spent a fortune, though)
  16. yup. or you didn't take in enough calories on training days. volume can also determine how hungry you'll be. for example: when i cut up, i limit volume and just stay in the 4-6 rep range to maintain strength, and only train 3 days a week when i want to bulk/build, i up the reps to 8-15 for hypertrophy and aim for 5 to 6 days the reason why higher reps trigger hunger is because it's more taxing to the body on a metabolic level, whereas the lower reps are more taxing on the central nervous system.
