Jfc. These remasters/remakes are killing my image of Sony. I understood sotc, since that was a blurry, framerate mess on the ps2, or Demon’s Souls (ugly af on ps3). But the gap from ps4 to ps5 doesn’t have the same impact. PS doesn’t have competition in the premium console generation anymore. So, I expect this laziness to continue. Like seriously, what has ND done this gen? Just remakes and remasters. Jfc TLOU was already remastered for ps4. It didn’t need a remake.

Finished Baby Reindeer. That was excellent. A very unforgettable experience. It’s a hard watch, but it actually made me more sympathetic to

it has a nvidia chip, which automatically makes it better at RT (SD and ALLY are AMD). i wouldn't be surprised if its raw numbers are comparable to SD.

which i'm definitely fine with. i love the battery life with SD OLED. I'm hoping switch 2 is better, in that sense.

the switch 2 will definitely have an edge with RT. though, my expectations for its raw power is pretty conservative.

how are the rpg elements? does leveling up the character have a big impact on progression? or is it an afterthought? the bosses look pretty wild.

it's slow at the beginning, but the main story is way better than 5's. i like its darker tone more. still, 5r is pretty great (if you spend as little time in mementos as you can).

i have been pretty happy with gamepass. the value is pretty great, especially if you knock out several games in a month. i think i beat like 5 games last year, from september to october, for $20. then i got 2 months for free in november/december.

i'd give it another shot if the load times got fixed, along with improved inventory management and ship controls. it all felt clunky af. the framerate was the least of my issues.

I paid the full $70 and would have spent $100. It’s that good of a remake. Highly worth it and recommended. I also picked up Fallout 4 and Persona 5 Royal (triple dipped since it was on sale). I’m an Atlus cow. Moo.

Dave The Diver: Wish.com Edition

The writing was fine for the pacing and tone. I actually think it was intentionally bad, so they can seamlessly mix a dark scene with a randomly humorous moment. I don’t recall ever hearing that the games were some cerebral masterpiece either. I do agree with many that the series has a lot of plot holes, but that didn’t bug me.

damn, ep 4 of baby reindeer was fucked up. i think it's the realism of it all. i'm going to have to pace myself with the rest of it. that shit was uncomfortable af. brilliant tv, but also masochistic tv.
