i beat medusa in ass creed odyssey. that bitch was level 50 (i was 49). the whole atlantis arc, i general, has been awesome! it's crazy how this has been more rewarding than the actual campaign.

yeah, while i dug the ability to turn off the rhythm, i got sick of the game pretty quickly. i just thought it wasn't for me. i have never really played this genre before. the music is better than the game imo. it did make a great first impression, though.

suspiria (2018 remake) is fucking crazy. Weird movie, but with some great twisted scenes. It starts off kind of boring, but then it gets bonkers.

well, that's the case with a lot of tech. soft shadows and tessellation didn't seem to add a lot, at first. now, there's no turning back. right now, we are conditioned for more primitive graphics techniques. however, that will change. plus, it won't be such a resource hog (remember how soft shadows dropped f.e.a.r's performance by half?) it's just too new to be widely appreciated right now.

just watched this. it's definitely an experience LOL. it's not as shocking as his Irreversible film, but there are some magically twisted and visually stunning moments. it's a disturbing, surreal and beautiful mess of a cinematic acid trip. edit: this movie has some of the best film work i've seen. i'm not one for dance scenes, but that first one was mind-blowing.
