i rather have 4k/60fps than 8k

exactly. these systems won't have the power to push native 8k graphics (unless it's 8k checkerboard - if they do a mid gen refresh). even then....

of course. we will probably have 16k too. however, next gen will focus on 4k.

4k was introduced in 2013 and many still use 1080p lol. your point?

1080p TVs had been out for 10 years, once the pro dropped in 2016. 4k is just getting traction. in 5+ years, sure, but don't expect to see 8k for quite a while.

don't expect 8k for another 5+ years. even by then, people will be more than content with their 4K.

it's funny they mentioned that strategy. i was wondering "well if this dude can fly now with a dragon...why doesn't he just turn people from all over. hell, even the ones on the ships?" lol

we've already seen the impact bran had on hodor with his consistent causal loop (the seizure when hodor was younger). so, i think bran will play a huge role, but certain elements of "fate" must be met (like sam telling jon about his bloodline). bran had this sense of urgency too. i'm confident there will be a major payoff.
