Good Time (2017) was a really good movie. I recommend it to those who love gritty, crime dramas. It had some great tension and stellar performances.

Oh man...I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve heard the film wouldn’t have scored well, if it wasn’t for the hype. Lots of racist folks out there.

I get the groundbreaking aspect. I just get annoyed by people who say the movie is scoring well because it’s a “good black superhero movie”...instead of “good superhero movie (in general)”..

I can’t recommend golf story enough. Sooo good!

Why does it have to be a black superhero film? Why can’t it just be rated as a superhero film?

Golf story is pretty awesome

So I saw black panther. First off, I don’t usually care for marvel movies. So, I was relieved that the film met the “realistic” hype. Best movie ever? no Best superhero movie? No. But did I like it? Absolutely! I’ll get right to the point: it’s a by-the-books superhero flick, but with a bit more depth and social relevance. It’s, visually, stunning - despite a few cartoony effects. But the percussion-driven film score is what really immersed me. All the players nailed their roles, as well. My score - B

yeah, it's definitely more of a puzzle game in an action-adventure universe. i'm almost done. i think it took me about 8 hours my first time. this time, i have played for far less (since i remembered a lot of the solutions). so maybe 5 hours?

I’ll have to check that out, Tb. I finished altered carbon. I really enjoyed the last 3 eps. It’s still flawed and messy, but it was fun - like an early 90’s sexy b-thriller with the glossy look of a big budget sci-fi flick.

SOTC is even better than I remembered. And the remake has phenomenal graphics. Damn.

Yeah, I’m close to the end. The show is messy as hell. But, I agree, there’s definitely a foundation there for a great 2nd season.

I called it junk food entertainment, as well. Or cheap sex tv. It’s all eyegasm, with very little cerebral foreplay. And that’s fine imo.
