  1. ok, i've hit level 17 on ass creed origins. some notes: - i really love exploring this world. it feels alive, and there's always a new piece of eye candy around every corner. - the missions are pretty repetitive. i have basically cleared out numerous areas of soldiers/wild animals, and have carried numerous prisoners or corpses to various destinations. i think this repetitive quest design is why the game only got 7's and 8's. - fortunately, the missions are pretty short. i also like to do a good amount of hunting. i have probably upgraded my
  2. i saw a pretty badass prison flick called Shot Caller. great cast and tense as fuck! it's basically the breaking bad of prison flicks.
  3. Playing ass creed. It’s buggy as fuck, but I love exploring the areas. The amount of details make up for the performance shortcomings. The story is still meh, but I like the main character. Also, the vibe is really intoxicating, even with the jarring glitches. I would like to see Ubisoft team up with a developer with better writing/production skills. Right now, it’s an 8.0 game that could be more with refinement. Still, this is the first AC game I have truly enjoyed playing.
  4. We started watching godless, but the wife was too tired to finish the first ep. I liked what I watched, though.
  5. Ass creed origins is legit. Some weird bugs and meh dialog, but the world is fantastic. It’s like you want to explore every nook and cranny. Lots of hidden details.
  6. The loot boxes and mods add a lot. I racked up 300% bunus cash and +2,000 xp in one race. I like the challenges the master mods provide.
  7. Eh, the first kind of sucked. Soma did the hide n’ seek aspect significantly better.
  8. Best marvel show imo but I’ve always had a soft spot for the punisher. I even liked the 2004 movie.
  9. lol it’s more of an entertaining oddity. I like the game’s quirks.
  10. Eh there are a lot of fight scenes. However, there’s plenty of depth too. You’ll find yourself getting quite connected to the characters.
  11. I just saw The Man Who Invented Christmas. I loved it! Dan Stevens killed it.
  12. Well, the beauty of the punisher is that it’s grounded more in reality. Still, some of the shit that happens later on does feel a bit “super”... ths last batch of eps are incredible.
  13. What episode are you on? The first 3 or 4 have a much larger slow burn than season 2 of daredevil.
  14. i'm loving forza 7. it plays and looks amazing on the one x. i actually love the loot boxes.
  15. It came out way later (like 6 months after). If you lived in the US, you would understand. The Las Vegas shooting, in particular, stirred up the gun control debate to new levels (since the victims were mostly straight white people). I work in TV news, and it’s the first time we aren’t doing a year end promo because of all the mass shootings.
  16. Yeah, there’s a bit of a slow burn. It lacks the punch the punisher had in daredevil. But i’m glad they really fleshed out castle. I also like the supporting characters a lot.
  17. Wick 2 came out before the recent string of mass shootings, including the deadliest one in US history (Las Vegas).
  18. Which is unfortunate, since the series is quite good! Now all kinds of media will be knocked for being “too violent”. On a note, Season 2 of daredevil is still GOAT for me. But I do like seeing a more humane Frank Castle in Punisher.
