The last TR game that came out before the UC series started is pretty much UC lite. Not as many people played it though so nobody really realizes that. it had actual environmental puzzles and challenging platforming, which made it the exact opposite of both UC and the new TR.This. Some of the best puzzles this gen.

actually, i had a gf for 3 years before her! however, the one i'm with now is a real keeper. she's pretty fun and is in the tv industry too (soon-to-be meteorologist). though yeah, i used to be quite the player before 2009 lol.

Went back to metro last light. the atmosphere and graphics still blow my mind I just finished this section where I had to drive on train tracks.

well to be honest if you just dont find it exciting to play , DS isnt gonna make things better aside the load times it just feels better with the touch controls for me and feels smoother to transist from menus etc...but yea if it doesnt click with you maybe let it go for now and pick it up some day later maybe it feel more natural when you have more time and less games on your backlog? but its not really a big game (from what they say here) so why not play in 1 hour bursts? you must already be playing over 5 hours so you have like around 12 hours left tops im still in the futur

How is the ds version better? Aside from better load times, I have a hard time believing it makes a huge difference. I would imagine it has worse image quality as well.

gow 2 is the only one i loved. 3 had some cool parts, but it was an overall disappointment. as for what i'm playing, i plan on putting more time into chrono trigger tonight.

Hey, I hold certain games in high regard, due to nostalgia. I'm sure many do the same.

The story does get better. Other than that, the game doesn't evolve much in terms of gameplay, you'll get a ship that allow you to travel to different time as you wish and you'll learn new double/triple techs, get more party members.Eh I'll keep playing. While a charming game, the gameplay feels so blah. The techs are cool, but I'm not that big on the combat. I can only play the game in like 30 minute chunks.

So I'm 5 hours into chrono trigger. It's good, and I like all the different times (and events that have happened) that you explore. I don't love it though. Does it get better as it progresses?
