  1. I think I'm close to wrapping up tomb raider. I just did the elevator puzzle.
  2. i don't think its your type of game tbh.It may not be...but I'm willing to give it a shot. I know it's not something I can breeze through...which is fine for a mobile game, since I can play it here and there...whenever I have several hours to kill when I'm at work.
  3. Just be aware it's a massive time sink lolThat's fine. I plan on chipping away at it for months, kind of like I'm doing with real racing 3 ( already put in like 20 hours). I just wanted something different. I never gave jrpgs a real chance, and I've heard this game owns hard.
  4. Picked up persona 4 golden since it was $29.99 on Psn. I will start it once I finish tomb raider this weekend. I hope I like it
  5. Godly postits this gen's RE4. games will borrow from it and expand on the survival idea. wonder if naughty dog would try a game like that for ps4, not using the uc characters but something new. i don't think that aspect was all that great. i just loved how the areas felt a lot larger, with far better level design. i also loved how you could upgrade your character's skills and weapons. the cover system is the best i've seen in this genre. unlike uncharted, you could actually explore the areas and uncover secret locations. like i previously have said, it's definitely an evolution of the u
  6. I'm loving tomb raider, but fuck...Lara's friends are annoying and their voice acting is awful lol.
  7. I'm quite surprised by how good tomb raider is. I'm basically at the fire/sacrifice part (how far in am I?) like I said in another thread, this does feel like an evolution of the uncharted formula. I love how open certain areas are (the level design is quite good) and I like the alternate tombs you can explore. The ability to upgrade weapons/skills is a welcome feature. The combat is much deeper than uc's and the platforming is better too.
  8. I'm really enjoying tomb raider a lot now. I love the newer gadgets.
  9. Finally, some real opinions. I think Lara is a stiff character in terms of animations, none of them look as fluid as they do when NaughtyDog is behind them. Though, the contextual cover system is one of my favorite things in awhile.Yeah the cover system is extremely well done. I hope more games use it! I mentioned in another thread, how the animations and character models aren't that great. While Lara's reactions to environmental hazards, such as fire, are definitely a welcome nod to UC, the general movements look stiff.
  10. Ya. They look ok from far though. The water running down the hillsides looks like a flat 2d animation lol. Hell, gears did a better job, back in 2006. I do like all the detail in the areas though. I also like how open certain parts are. It's quite refreshing for a cinematic action adventure game.
  11. I'm definitely digging tomb raider. I do like how open some sections are, while maintaining a good amount of detail. I don't think it looks as good as uc 2 or 3 (Certain objects and effects don't wow me), but it still looks good enough to flesh out the atmosphere it's aiming for.
  12. Bought tomb raider. Let's see if this game meets the hype.
  13. I love eating pussy though it's gotta be shaved or with just have a little strip on it. I dont do the jungle bunnies.
  14. You'll like it. The rr series has always been quite good with the tilt controls. You can turn off assists if they bug you.
  15. Supposedly there are issues on the g3 and Optimus g (though I'm hearing it runs fine on nexus 4 -weird)
  16. Ya. I also would not play it on anything weaker than the retina iPad, iPhone 5, or the nexus 10. as for android phones, possibly the note 2 or better. Anything less, and you'll get performance issues, aliasing, and missing effects.
  17. I'm playing real racing 3 on the retina iPad. The cars look pretty damn good. The controls are great! I don't mind this whole freemium set up. I guess it would kind of suck if you want to play for long periods of time (you literally have to wait 10 to 30 minutes for repairs, unless you use coins, you earn, to eliminate the wait). However, if you just do like 10/15 races here and there, it's not an issue. Plus, for those who want to play for longer periods of time, it doesn't take long to afford other cars, which you can use if one is being repaired. Also, you can just spend like $5 or $10 (whi
  18. The only way you can possibly get a crazy image like that, with a body in focus, is to do the full streak motion extremely fast and then stay still for the duration of the shot. Sometimes, you won't see the ghosting of the body.
  19. No clue. I haven't dabbled with photography in like 2 years, back when I had to create a fake time-lapse with a bunch of stills, that required a similar streaky effect (downtown Miami street traffic/buildings). I used an older camera/lens...so I'm sure the new ones have all kinds of presets.
  20. The image behind the guy (top pic) was definitely a photo that used similar settings I mentioned.
