anytime bro I agree, hopefully we haven't jinxed it now. I think the board knows this is a bait-free thread. That's why it was created. It won't change -

you got vita already? What are your impressions so far?it's a lot better than i expected. i find the analog nubs (or nipples lol) to actually be quite functional. wipeout looks, sounds, and plays great! it really is a show piece title. uncharted doesn't look as sharp, but it controls quite well and the still shots on the web don't do it justice, visually. there are parts that are comparable to its console big brothers. the touch screen mechanics are well implemented, though i try to avoid them, since they dumb down platforming that's already quite easy. swipe a pattern and you will cross the w -

I liked 2 lol. The school part was boss. The gunplay did feel weak though. -

You will love ghost trick. How was fear 3? Its a fairly short game(4 hours) that still manages to get old half way through. If you've played previous games in the series you'll be familiar with how they incorporate "horror" sequences. Fight in a couple of areas then slowly walk(they often prevent you from running) through "scarey" areas filled with shadowy figures and little girls playing peek a boo. Gunplay was better than 2 but still lacking in comparison to 1. If you're looking for a shooter to past the time you could do worse. Not a must play in my eyes. Damn...sounds shit -

I hope u give ico a chance. It takes time to be comfortable with the controls, but the experience was extremely memorable. I loved it more than sotc. I played it a couple of hours and it just didn't really click. If I recall I opened one of the big gates. The game is one of the most eerie ones I've ever played with a really unique atmosphere. I was impressed by the minimalist sound design, the scale of the level (big even by 2012 standards) and wasjust all around impressed this game came out in 2001. But I just didn't find it very fun. I ended up youtube'ing the rest of the cutscenes just bec -

Just fought the boos on chapter 6....only half way through the game... My playthrough came out to about 12 hours. They really did put in quite a lot of content. -

thanks! yeah the 3ds owns pretty hard. i still got to wrap up the extra levels in mario and finish pushmo (plus i want to create levels for it). btw, the true final boss in re revelations is hard as fuck (at least for me). i get so close to killing him (i think) and then die. one of the more memorable boss fights -

in terms of old-school atmosphere and pacing, the early ship parts are the best. the more freaky moments happen in the first half. now, i think the more action-oriented parts, outside of the ship (and on), got a bad rap. some of the mountain stuff was fun. also, the on-rails sequences were well done. in some ways, it felt like 2 games in 1. you had the slow "boo" factor and unpredictability of the earlier games. then you had the crazier, mob of enemies type of fights, comparable to the newer titles. though some of the action parts required pure survival over gunfire, which i liked a lot. i wou -

it cranks up the action in the second half, while still managing to stay atmospheric through most of it.
