I thought most of the inflated prices were due to a spike in demand and the chip shortage, due to Covid? I don’t think we’ll see another 2020/2021 for a while.

It was just a bit jarring, at first, but it’s coming full circle (that’s a great thing). Remy mentioned the shift, as well.

Just a heads up. There is a tonal shift around eps 3 and 4. It’s still entertaining, though.

@madmaltese The Diplomat makes a great first impression. Some reviews didn’t sell it well (nothing negative, but they made it seem lighter in tone). I’m glad you mentioned it and gave it a thumb up. And damn, Keri is still so gorgeous (age 47).

God damn, this makes me miss the mid-2000s FPS era. Great campaigns that can only be appreciated with kb+m. I remember trying F.E.A.R. on the 360 (after beating it like 5 times on PC). It felt so sluggish, almost game-breaking.

I started watching Platonic. I don’t like Seth Rogan, but I love Rose Byrne. It started off rocky..but….it’s growing on me. I’m actually digging the dynamic between the 2 leads. It kind of has a Judd Apatow feel (like I love You Man and This Is 40). It’s a solid watch if you want accessible tv with characters that become likable (almost stopped watching early on lol). edit: episode 4 is pretty fucking funny

I started playing this demo. It definitely feels grand. Pretty amazing production values. The combat feels fine, but simple. I’ll play the rest after lunch.

I’m soooo sick of people complaining about games (and all forms of entertainment) not having diversity. If devs want to have an all white, black or Asian cast…let them. Creative vision shouldn’t be compromised to please cancel culture.
