i personally think metroid prime was gotg. that game had the best puzzles, atmosphere, and level design last gen. re 4 took the third person shooter to new levels, adding lots of action adventure elements. however, it did compromise everything re fans loved about the series. but hey..at least the tank controls are gone lol.

might be? it is..as a single player game. i was the biggest re fan before 5 came out. this gen aint done yet but looking at the last game it was a giant letdown. i still remember you praising here it when it came out re 4 is still one of my favorite action adventure shooters. i was sad to see the horror elements and atmosphere erased. however, it was a thrill ride.

i do agree with this. they lack atmosphere.

damn i found part 1 to be unplayable on the 360. so if you loved it..you're going to flip for part 2, which was a major improvement.

just cause is the kind of game you fuck around with, just like the first. i can't imagine it having a good campaign.

yeah. that's my only gripe. it could be slightly tweaked. everything else feels better in uncharted.

yeah..i tend to enjoy shooters more when i take breaks from them. i enjoyed my 3rd playthrough of uc2 more than my second.

gears 2 starts off slow..gets really good in the middle..but then gets boring towards the end. i stopped playing a little after maria died.

im glad you're enjoying it how far are you? not too far. i'm trying to find that missing student. the flashbacks are trippy as hell. the music is quite atmospheric too. i have a feeling i'm in for something special the game starts off really slow. if you're liking it already then you're in for quite a treat
