And there we have the flip-flop
All that bragging about the OLED and how they couldn't go back, and now it's reduced to..."well actually Nintendo's LCD screens still look great....just not that one"
An LCD is still an LCD. Sheep will once again shit all over LCD the moment Switch 2 OLED is available and they're milked for the hardware refresh.
Nah you're confused.
From Jump it was revealed that the Deck LCD was slightly worse then OG Switch LCD. That was more than a year ago. You can go look back and look at the threads.
It is disappointing that they're launching Switch 2 with an LCD, but it should be a better screen than OG Switch from almost 7 years ago.
What you seem to forget that when Switch launched it was you guys who bashed it's screen
"Vita launched with an OLED years ago and Nintendo is launching with LCD?"
"Pffft only 720p, lmfao.. That's too low res why not a 1080 screen"
Fast forward almost 7 years later and everyone realizes that 1) a 1080p screen on a handheld is not worth the performance and battery life trade off. 2) 720p - 800p is the sweet sport for these portable screens.

Super Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo Switch 2.

Nah. They've adjusted the default SRBG values and added the ability to adjust the display to warmer tones.
https://www.pcgamer.com/steamos-35-brings-more-warmth-vibrancy-to-the-decks-colors/
What percentage of the SRBG color gamut does it display now?
Last I checked Switch LCD displays 100% of the sRBG color gamut compared to 68% for the Deck.

They'll flip flop and not have a problem with LCD then.
All LCDs aren't the same quality wise.
Obviously OLED are better.
Switch 1 LCD was good for it's time, I expect the Switch 2 LCD to be better than what they sourced for Switch 1.

And after all the shit Sheep were talking too
Unless they have two skus at launch, Sheep are back to gaming on a 'shitty LCD'
Whatever LCD the Switch 2 has will be better than the Deck's. Seeing as Switch 1 LCD is slightly better than the deck as is

Ford spends 4x a year on R&D you idiot
Wait you're comparing the market and use of a car to a console?
And because cars release yearly consoles can follow that same model?
-

Less than a fucking car.
R&D is research and development, it's ongoing because they're always engineering and or planning the road map for future hardware.
The years leading up to a new console, the costs ranges from several hundreds of millions of dollars to sometimes a few billion.
"Nikkei is reporting Sony will spend 300 billion yen (about $2.17 billion) in R&D for its video game segment,"
There's a reason why they're only 3 companies worldwide making dedicated home console hardware.
How retarded are you?

Digital games won’t sell out
Uh yea they can because games get pulled from digital stores all the time, never to be seen again.
-
Lmfao.. Do you know how much R&D goes into making a console?
Yearly consoles is not a viable option.

Information that you find? When have you actually properly researched ANYTHING?
Ramza let's be real, you don't actually take the time to look into anything. Your source of information is random YouTube videos
Difference is when I post stuff I have multiple tangible facts and links to back up what im saying and 7 times out of 10 it's directly from the source or a quote from the source.
Just like in that book banning thread... Once I dropped all the facts and links to back it up... POOF you're gone never to be seen again.

Lol Deductions are formed from evidence, not just some ignorant person's point of view.
On 2023-09-18 at 8:35 PM, Mr. House said:It's called deductive reasoning which is based on logic, Sherlock.
On 2023-09-18 at 9:01 PM, Mr. Impossible said:So in your world logic is just a feeling and doesn't have to be based in reality or any understanding of the subject or subsequent subjects/topics?
So a person who knows nothing about automobiles or combustion engines can logically deduce what's wrong with a car?
On 2023-09-18 at 9:07 PM, Mr. House said:It's based on evidences that I have seen and I believe to be true, what YOU think of what I know is absolutely irrelevant to me making a deduction on my own terms. I'm not even asking you to believe anything I say.
And I honestly couldn't care less. Yes, I am inventing all of this in my head, Remy. I never said anything that was factual or based on verifiable information in my entire life.
This exchange explains sooo much about Ramza.... "if I believe it, it's true... Damn factual tangible evidence"

I also want to add how easy conservatives find it to call people pedophiles and groomers based on nothing, can never concede that a man abused a woman and go out of their way to protect the accused man.

Those books were successfully banned, eventually the cases went to the supreme court which found removing books for simply having same sex couples but aren't sexual explicit to be discrimination.
That's not really the point, the majority of currently banned books aren't banned by woke leftist, they are banned because "adult themes". There are a few for racism here and there but more seem to be banned because conservative concerns than "woke" ones.
It's not an easy answer, there's no single - clear cut - up to date list but after digging through several credible sites that have cataloged banned or "challenged" titles, none of what you are saying is true or even close to it.
How about you just stop making shit up and lying? Why is that so hard for you? You have been clearly just making claims you feel are true based on how much you hate the left and woke people at this point.
Is there ANY topic that Cooke takes a few minutes to look into before forming his baseless opinion?

They are not BANNED. There may be attempts at removing them from elementary school libraries. That is not a ban and they are never successful.
I'm surprised you're not outraged that the conservatives in Canada are attempting to ban and censor books..

Just now, Cooke said:
As part of Microsoft’s big, self-imposed FTC leak, a document outlining the company’s April 2022 gaming results provided a clear look at the respective popularity of the company’s two current-gen consoles.
Notably, 74.8 percent of Xbox Series owners purchased the S, while 25.1 percent went with the X. What’s more, the S accounted for 65 percent of Xbox Series console sales that month. It’s worth noting that Xbox boss Phil Spencer predicted as much during the leadup to both consoles’ November 2020 launch.
Old news and that 74.8% solely for April 2022.

Misleading chart.
Xbox operating profits aren't higher than Playstation's.. As you stated Phil clarified that's it's actually in the single digits.
Read the the chart carefully... It shows "accountability margins" for Xbox, while PS and Nin showed operating income and net income respectively.

Developers and publishers wouldn't bother if Sony is the only one making games on physical media for an add on device. It would be niche as fuck. The entire world has Internet now, and most games require internet to even play single player.
Internet on your phone =/=broadband.
The entire world does not have broadband.
-
1 hour ago, Tears of the Cows said:
that’s a fancy way of saying 6% of America doesn’t have access to broadband.
still 6% …..
That's counting slow ass speeds too as low as 25Mbs. In some areas in America the wired internet is so bad your phone has faster access so people don't even pay for both and just use their phone.
"Even in areas where broadband is available, approximately 100 million Americans still do not subscribe."
100 million + 1/4 of Rural America + 1/3 of the Tribal territories = more than 1/3 of the entire US population
Yes more than 1/3 of the country which is the biggest video game market in the world does not have broadband, access to broadband or access to decent speeds.
It's in worse in other countries, yes in certain countries it's better as well.
But point is too huge of a segment of the population doesn't have broadband to go 100% digital and expect to sell 100 million consoles + over a billion in software.
You need both a physical and digital presence to achieve that.
