Let me reiterate my stance. The steam deck will be a great machine for enthusiasts, I've said that from day 1.....but.. It is in no way a threat to any mainstream system as the Deck is going after a different segment of the market. Deck has better hardware than Switch but that it no way will impact Switch on the console space because again deck is aiming directly at enthusiasts.

Here's the difference. Switch also gets games that are made specifically for it. Steam deck will not have that luxury. Reacting to his comments is not me saying his comments. Again who is surprised? The deck is coming out 5 years after Switch it would be surprising if it wasn't more powerful than Switch. Me pointing out that you guys are skirting over the issue raised =/= to me saying the Switch doesn't have performance issues. Switch's performance issues doesn't negate Deck's performance issues for the PC crowd.
