Same with NPD... digital is included yet Xbox software sales are terrible. Let's use Monster Hunter World as an example. The game has sold 17 million WW.... only 1 million plus were sold on Xbox as per Capcom's internal documents Your fantasy that Xbox digital pushes Xbox game sales past other versions of games is not based on reality.

It was announced back in 2015. It was announced alongside the 3DS and PS4 versions. It was the first game announced for Switch. (I mixed that up with first version announced) but my point still stands. Switch didn't hold back the game even though it was announced from the start. 3DS didn't hold back the game either.... so you're worried for no reason. Only reason the Switch version didn't launch the same time was because the switch version of UE4 got delayed.

Im not saying it will turn into a blockbuster in Japan.... but it will turn it around to be moderately successful.

DQXI got announced for Switch before any other platform and yet it still didn't hold it back.

Sony is currently focusing on the west first and the Japan, once more Japanese centric software releases it will pick up steam.

By the time DQXII is out the Switch 2 should be on the market. Switch didn't hold back DQXI and it won't hold back XII

Turns out all the rumors that Remij posted about RE8 having performance issues were true, but turns out it was the PC version all along Hermits are big mad and attacking DF for their analysis. Apparently the game stutters everytime you shoot a gun... Yiiiiikes Remij 😂🤣

RE5 and RE6 did that, killed all the soul and became a soulless Zombie game. At the time RE4 needed to be different because the series had stagnated. The huge variety of enemy types, different gameplay mechanics and a multitude of innovations was exactly what the series needed at the point. If they had released another slow paced zombie jump scare game RE would have flamed out. The downside was that because RE4 was such a critically acclaimed hit, Capcom went overboard with the sequels (5and 6) and once again the series needed another jump start with RE7.
