  1. The pro is not the Switch 2 so it wouldn't be a generational leap. It will be like the leap between PS4 and PS4 Pro.
  2. Yup...See my updated post above. Year 1 when the system launched games were 79.99..... It gradually went down... I believe I bought my N64 for 129.99 and games were 40 to 50 new at that point.
  3. N64 games MSRP were 79.99 at launch. Killer Instinct Gold – $79.99 (Source: GamePro #101) Star Fox 64 – $79.95 (Source: GamePro #106) Prices actually went down as the gen went on eg Turok: Dinosaur Hunter – $79.99 (Source: GamePro #103) Turok 2 – $69.99 (Source: GamePro #113) and I believe Turlock 3 was like 55 to 60 at launch. Compare that to PS1 games on disk launching for $39.99 that price difference was insane.
  4. The impressions are out.... they only had Backward compatibility to show
  5. Yes but you can't bank on only one game for launch because delays come up.
  6. So the Series X previews from the press are coming in. It all backwards compatibility games @Remij @madmaltese the game situation is worse than we thought. "As this is a preview console, I was limited to focusing on three areas for this initial hands-on: backward-compatible games, load times, and the new Quick Resume feature" "The true next generation of games is still a mystery" @jehureyyou couldn't make this up if you tried https://www.theverge.com/21458254/microsoft-xbox-series-x-load-times-performance-gamep
  7. So you still have no examples of the MSRP of a system's games increasing midway through a system's life cycle.... that's all you had to say bro... you don't got it.
  8. Let me give you some examples of it NOT HAPPENING. PS360 games increased to 60.....PS2 and Xbox stayed at 50.... Wii stayed at 50 as well. Nintendo didn't increase to 60 until its next system. Now your turn to show a system's games MSRP increasing midway through a system's life cycle.... go...
  9. No Remij. This is a new generation. If game prices are to increase it increases for a new gen, I've already said that from Jump. You still have yet to provide one single example of the MSRP increasing for a system midway through its life cycle. Should be easy.... cough up the examples
  10. So it should be really easy to find examples of the MSRP increasing during the middle of a system's life cycle.
  11. Where are the examples of the MSRP increasing midway through a system's life cycle? You still don't have it huh?
  12. Their games are at least 2 years out....good luck to them catching up to PS5's momentum and mindshare... Lemmings are in for another looooooong ass drought of quality first party content.
  13. That's YOUR personal opinion. But the FACT is, PS2 launched with EXCLUSIVE games. Series X maybe the first system in history to not have a single exclusive at launch. Big difference.
  14. I said good launch. You dont need an amazing launch to succeed just a good one. PS2 launched with good exclusive games MS is launching with zero exclusive titles, launch so far is looking beyond terrible
  15. and this is why I think MS has lost the gen before it even started. If you look back at all the systems that dominated a gen.... they all had great launches. MS literally has nothing to show..... they had 7 years to prepare and still have nothing? Simple terrible.
  16. Ohhh so you still can't provide examples of the MSRP increasing in the middle of a system's of cycle....lol Thought so
  17. So give some examples when the MSRP increased for a system's games in the middle of it's life cycle.... should be easy enough ... lol
