So let's recap, Switch is on pace to surpass 3DS + Wiiu and GBA + GC. On top of that, Switch's 3rd quarter revenue and profits were the best since the PEAK YEAR of Wii + DS. Switch ALONE generated that type of cash as the Wii + DS did in its PEAK quarter in 2009. Seems like Switch is already worth the merger bro

The thing that still creates a bit of a caveat is that this gen Sony have abandon the duel hardware in favour for one. So like for eg, couple gens ago they were selling 120m+ PS2s and 80M+ PSPs then they had Vita and PS3 and now they just have PS4p. That's a gigantic handheld market that has been merged into the console one. PS4 would need like 180M lifetime to be worth the merge really.
