of course the point is selling Hardware. PS4 sold the most hardware to the tune of 18 million... that's almost HALF of the Xbox 6 year userbase sold in one year in PS4..... lest we forget that 2017 was the WORST selling year for Xbox1.... couple that with a full year of a new sku in 2018.... that "growth" was really hollow because Xbox still sold like shit.... it just didn't sell like the dog shit of 2017.

But as soon as Nov 2018 came around... the first month in 2018 that you could compare with a 2017 month that had X..... Huge Declines for Xbox1 every single month since then.
