It's the Smash and Pokémon effect. Smash is still selling like crazy and Pokémon is still doing good as well.. but not as strong as Smash. Smash will be selling great for at least another year if the rest of the DLC is up to the same level as the recent Parsona content. When the mainline Pokémon + the Switch Mini launches this year it will be bananas.

They played it in handheld mode. when you're playing a game at 60fps you are playing the game IN MOTION on a 6 inch screen...the game isn't played via screenshots. of course it doesn't look as good as PS4.... but "for the Switch" as a hybrid system... it turned out well.

You expected it to look WORSE than this AND run at 30fps don't try to spin it now . I said from jump they would reduce details (obviously) use the same models and run at 60. its inevitable that things will slow down as the years go on....."Fall of the cliff" if you will. But pinning that solely on next gen being announced it a stretch... as I said above the people who are purchasing now are not early adopters. They won't purchase a next gen system early anyways. Things are slowing down because these systems launched in 2013 its 2019 now.... they're almost at the saturation point... well PS4 at least.

People who are purchasing an Xbox1 and PS4 in 2019 are not the same type of person that is an early adopter....different demographic. These same 2019 buyers that waited almost 6 years to purchase those consoles will do the same next gen....purchase it years after launch.... As far as the early adopters.. they have already bought a console early this gen... and they will also purchase a next gen system early as well.

Well.. it's only March and Switch has already sold basically 2X of what Xbox has and we still have 9 months left in the year.
