  1. I thought this announcement already happened..........I read and deleted the email I received announcing this. Funny enough, they didn't change the computer requirements at all, so my GTX 970 still falls under "recommended" requirements, as does my CPU. I think this one requires 3 USB 3.0 connections, however.
  2. Didn't Sony invest in this cutting edge mocap and facial capturing technology that they are sharing across all of their first and second party games? That is why the Spiderman video game had some great looking cutscenes. So if you already have the mocap studio, why do you need David Cage anymore? I'm sure you can find a homeless person living in the backalley of a movie studio lot to write a better story.
  3. LOL, last week Dynocrap was thinking to himself that he couldn't get owned any worse than losing the MCC to PC. And still doesn't know that its only going to get worse and worse.
  4. LOL, you're trying to boast about 33 miles of fencing? Its not even classified as an actual wall but rather "fencing". And... Talk about whittled down.
  5. Wait a minute........this message about Xbox turned into a sermon for Incels. And it wasn't even subtle, either; it became apparent by the third sentence. The Xbox is the great metaphor for those people. Committing to something that is guaranteed to not have any payoff.
  6. That's great news that Sony is finally getting that French hack off of their books. Sony LITERALLY ended their partnership with David Cage..............and won a fucking Oscar for Best Animated Film immediately afterwards. Quality improved via subtraction. Let Lord & Miller create a game.
  7. I'm finding more and more games exactly that: disposable. Do we need 2 million used copies of Madden 2017 sitting on Gamestop shelves? The economy of scale could potentially make games cheaper. What if Need for Speed 2021 comes out, and EA can get 40, or 50 million people to buy it at $20 to $30 because there's 400 million PCs/Android devices out there. And they don't need to commit to manufacturing X millions of discs because the game distributes itself out to paying customers as needed with no waste. 20,000 people want to play the game during the middle of
  8. You already live in that world, years ago. You have blu-rays of video games that may not be Version 1.00, and if something ever happens to Sony or MS and their online services, you're on your own. 60% of your gaming library is probably digital. Same thing applies. And lastly...........this basically ensures that PC VERSIONS of games are developed by the developer. If a developer makes a game for a 10.7 TFLOP AMD gpu, running on linux and using Vulkan, that means there's no reason for that same developer to make that same exact game and put it on the Steam st
  9. Why was her one-page sheet of her plan written in crayon? And secondly, get dogs and get sled.........and then WIN the iditarod???? That's like: 1.) Build race car 2.) Buy race gear 3.) Win Indy 500 And lastly, I don't care who you are, but if you're travelling fairly fast on a sled, and a fucking grizzly bear comes out and gives you an open paw right-hook to your face, you die.
  10. I think all the rumor said was that after Link's Awakening was shown, it said that they have another 2D Zelda game coming out soon.
  11. LOL, this means absolutely nothing coming out of Phil Spencer's mouth. If anything, the fact that he had to make a memo to send to all of his employees, and that memo was release publicly means that they are spooked. If Google did something that MS already knows they can do better and are in a better position to show people soon, all Phil Spencer had to do was make a short tweet "You'll see what we have, soon." Exude confidence, keep it short. Instead he sounds like a coach who's trying to desperately get his team amped up in the 3rd Quarter as a last ditch
  12. This satisfies the rumor that there was another 2D Zelda game, right?
  13. People are acting like as if something got taken away from them, and they don't have something today that they had yesterday. I notice alot of people in the "gaming community" start acting like children who had poison ivy in crevice of their ass when the Wii came out in 2006. Nothing was taken from them, but the fact that something else existed, that was not meant for them, people genuinely started losing their shit and demanded that it be removed from this Earth. I literally can't think of a less obtrusive way to offer people games. I could play one Stadia
  14. I like how people immediately want to require that you be playing a streaming game while on a subway travelling 80 miles an hour. Are you currently playing your video game console or PC game on the subway travelling 80 miles an hour? I don't know about Doom. but I do know about AssCreed Odyssey, and the game worked fine. The only concern is if ISPs start putting bandwidth caps or if ISPs start charging Google for the heavy amounts of bandwidth that this will require, which will end up being an additional cost on top of the games you have to buy/rent
  15. These indies are starting to be more and more into 3D game design.
  16. Wait a minute, did that lady write her plans for entering the Iditarod race in crayon?
  17. LOL, cuphead. Straight to the jugular. That Uber game is hilarious.
  18. LOL, "it must be custom, then" Yeah, no shit.............maybe when they said that they had 10.7 TFLOP AMD GPUs in their server racks that should've been the first hint that this is something that's custom. The second hint would've been when they said its going to be going to market in multiple territories during THIS YEAR.
  19. We're talking about streaming AAA games on mobile devices. Imagine how long that would take to do the traditional way, having a handheld device that could truly handle it. If Nintendo and nVidia were serious about it, and poured in the resources, they could probably have a pretty badass handheld sometime in 2021. And battery-life may be a nightmare. If I'm playing a AAA humongous open-world game on my smartphone, I have no problem with settling for 1080p streaming. If anything, this actually gives me a legitimate reason for trying to get a 5G smartpho
  20. Yeah, one thing is for sure. Microsoft looks quite mediocre with what they had told us. They don't have Azure server in as many places as Google has their servers. The Azure servers are created from Xbox One S APUs Microsoft is merely an app that you have to boot up from some other hardware device, pending approval from that manufacturing company. Google doesn't need anybody's permission to have this run from Chrome Web Browser, Chromebooks, Android phones, and Chromecast devices. Google service looks to have a closer launch date than MS. Google's service
  21. Does that also mean that if a "next-gen" game releases, then all Google needs to do is to just have two GPUs running together to deliver something close to 20 TFLOPS? If an nVidia GPU is churning out 13-14 TFLOPS, that's like the equivalent of 18 TFLOPS performance from an AMD gpu.
  22. It was fine for AssCreed Odyssey. Would I play a fighting game on this? Probably not. For alot of games it will be fine. There's alot of people who are perfectly okay with playing Fortnite on their phones, and that lag must be worse. I said I would like to play Trials Rising from my phone, but with me trying to play as perfect as possible, I don't know if the lag will break the experience for me.
  23. The most common PC controller, the Xbox controllers, don't use gyroscope. As far as I can tell, the games running on their servers are pretty much Windows PC versions, or Vulkan/Linux versions, so its pretty much PC gaming being done on the server side. They're not going to have gyroscopes. Correction: they definitely are using Linux servers running Vulkan.
