Not gonna lie, Just picking up the Switch and turning it on from sleep mode, and immediately picking up where you left off and retrying a very hard level again and again is what this game should be. I worried about the CPU handling the physics, because Trials games have always been glitchy, even on the PC. They probably did a quick and dirty port, I don't even know if it was handled in-house and they gave it to someone else. Would've been nice if they allowed Panic Button to do the port.

LOL, I played Trials Evolution on my PC while watching late night tv for weeks. Loved getting perfect runs.

I'll tell you a secret. The game takes placed on that track, as a 2-dimensional plane. Now if they have a 4 player level, I wouldn't be surprise if the Switch takes a shit there.

Actually the game is pretty great for playing as a handheld, especially as I'm watching something on tv. And the right-analog stick works. I wish the demo version can allow me back into the game so that I can show my Gold race times. The skill challenge, I only got silver, but was literally at the end and was almost going to make gold. And the Skyscraper level, I had only gotten silver when the demo expired. The right-analog stick does the job.

Remember that rumor that in 2019, there wasn't going to be a full sequel to Forza Motorsport, that it was going to be this enhanced version of Forza 7? If that's true, then Microsoft would probably not release that on retail disc, it would be an all-digital add-on. Now that we've gotten some hard confirmation that Microsoft is pushing all-digital, that Forza rumor now has much more credibility. Microsoft is pretty much wrapping up this gen.

I don't understand why Sony, MS, and Nintendo don't have input in determining HDMI standards. Besides cable companies, who else has a bigger reliance on HDMI and TVs than game console companies? We need HDMI standards to include variable framerate from the very beginning. If this whole 16-bit precision thing is possible, Sony and MS need to start implementing that now and giving developers the tools to do that. I said at the very beginning that spending GPU power on rendering the SAME IMAGE by 400% is a fucking waste of GPU rendering power.

I'd say that the fourth version of a product being all-digital is a GOOD OMEN for the next-generation version of that product line!
