  1. And the only orbs I collected were for jumping, because that became its own mini-game. The orbs were placed in taller buildings. Climbing the builds would be easy if they have window ledges, or balconies that were spaced out close enough to climb all the way up. You'd get to the top, and find an orb, and could then jump slightly higher. And the purposely designed buildings that you could not climb unless your jump ability was advanced enough. And those buildings had more orbs. So it was jumping to climb buildings and structures leads to orbs, which leads to
  2. The big question is: Are Microsoft and Sony committing to real 4K resolution for their games? Because I can't see them adding much more major graphical features if this is supposed to be running at 4K. In fact, its the mid-tier Xbox console that makes me think that. It definitely could not perform this raytracing stuff, because it appears that its GPU is strictly meant to achieve 4K.
  3. but 20fps increase is really noticeable. Its these pathetic lemmings who are trying to cling onto "native 4K" of a version of Metro that's fucking running at Medium settings. Like are they honestly proud of that? For me, especially on PC, its always been about graphical settings being turned on as high as possible while achieving the most highest and stable framerate, and since I don't have a variable refresh monitor, that inherently means either at 30fps or 60fps. Resolution ends up being a lower priority. But in the future, having a nVidia vide
  4. No its not. Microsoft can't even make a press release that GamePass has exceed 10 million subscribers. They're offering Halo, Forza, and new releases like Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 on release day.......for $10 a month. Absolutely great price for a gaming rental service. And their last press release is that they have "multiple millions of subscribers." How the hell do they not have over TEN MILLION subscribers? You got 40 million Xbox Ones sold, how do they not have at least a "quarter" of that on GamePass?
  5. Nintendo is about two things: -Making software to help sell their hardware (which is sold at a profit) -Ensuring that their games are ever-green and remain full priced for as long as possible. The Xbox serves ZERO NEED for Nintendo. Microsoft needs Nintendo because Nintendo's userbase is now exceeding Xbox's. Microsoft can't even get TEN MILLION subscribers to pay $10 a month for GamePass. And they have sold 40 million Xbox Ones. The real reason is that there is not actual userbase of 40 million Xbox players. We all know they ha
  6. For goodness sakes, calm down. AMD is not some miracle factory. There's a process they have to go through to get something out the door as a consumer product. You know, better than most people, that AMD has been overperforming on the CPU front.....but not really keeping up with nVidia on the GPU front. You already know that the Sony PS5 rumor does not mention anything about raytracing, and that rumor pegs the console at 12 to 14 TFLOPs. Are you genuinely telling me that you ACCEPTED this information at face value, and you didn't have these logical questions
  7. The Microsoft is completely wasting their time to bring a service that isn't going to convince anybody to subscribe. I'm pretty sure Microsoft knows which games are the ones that convince people to pay $10 a month for, and it sure isn't Epic Mickey 2.
  8. LOL. If Nintendo had nothing to offer, Microsoft wouldn't have gone around trying to put GamePass on Switch. hell, Microsoft wouldn't have bothered even making Minecraft on Switch. Switch has an actual userbase of people who are paying money for gaming products. Switch userbase, for all intents and purpose, is the larger ACTIVE userbase. Microsoft can't even make a Press Release saying that GamePass has reached over 10 Million subscribers. Think about that.........they supposedly have over 40 million consoles sold. They can't even say that they'
  9. Well, jon is coming from the perspective of somebody who already has an Xbox. That's a small minority, to say the least. There's garbage games on GamePass. Pumped BMX Pro, We Happy Few, ARK Survival Evolved, Rush A Disney Pixar Adventure, Hello Neighbor, Human Fall Flat, Epic Mickey 2. Nobody considers these to be dealbreakers, not even jonny.
  10. You seem to be getting mad because I am putting LOGICAL restrictions on your hopes and dreams. Yes they do need to notify investors of future projects. Especially if the GPU is based on Navi, they have provided a roadmap about their GPUs, and one of the things AMD determines is how soon they can transition from designing a traditional dedicated GPU into an APU. You are now making an assumption that their plans for raytracing is meant to use existing Navi architecture.......you have no proof, you are simply guessing. And if its anything like nVidia's tech, it would simpl
  11. They make Chromecast. Their Project Stream test with Assassin's Creed Odyssey was done on desktop and Laptop PC's through the Chrome web browser. It only makes sense that they would make a new Chromecast that has that gaming ability. They could sell the Dongle and the Controller in a package. Streaming from a Desktop or Laptop PC doesn't make much sense, well maybe the Laptop. But people still want to play games on their tv. So just stick the new Chromecast in your tv and you can start playing.
  12. Don't get mad at me........I'm not the one who's committed 5 years of terrible mistakes and PR disasters at EA. Respawn just might be talented enough to make an engaging Star Wars game using DICE's tech. After this month, I think longtime EA executives are going to have to rethink which studio they need to be looking for answers to their problems.
  13. LOL, this is the only thing you can hide behind. But even then, its dubious. Like I said, AMD has a shareholder responsibility to provide a roadmap to all of their projects. Not only are you expecting them to develop raytracing tech.............but you are also expecting them to go straight into designing it for an APU, which they almost never do. Its always debuted first in their dedicated GPUs, and then they design an APU with that new architecture. You know this. You really are putting alot of faith in AMD revealing several things at once at GDC.
  14. There's no reason for Nintendo to be this generous to Microsoft. Allowing Minecraft to use Xbox Live for online mode? Yeah, Nintendo absolutely wouldn't care about that, they had no online system ready at that time. Allowing Microsoft to create an Xbox Live app for the Switch? Might raise some eyebrows, not technically taking any potential game sales away from Switch, but still raises questions. Allowing Microsoft to offer games through GamePass or xCloud? That means that Microsoft is collecting money from people and Nintendo isn't getting a cut. That simply
  15. But that's the thing. if its still in development.......then its not close to actual manufacturing. And for Microsoft's console, it would need to be in manufacturing by the latter half of this year. They don't even have a demo to show.
  16. So, you would understand that the rumor is also dubious in that it only shows the console at 12 TFLOPS in rendering power. So unless AMD found some amazing efficiency in their architecture and their software library to do raytracing, the power of their GPU doesn't make this plausible. Could they be working on some alternative universal lighting technique that is much lighter in GPU power and call that a raytracing alternative? Possibly. AMD has a responsibility to share a roadmap of their projects, for the next 2-3 years ahead. They need to design an APU for Microsoft b
  17. I don't think I've ever seen somebody CREATE their own rumors in order to make themselves feel better. but here comes Dynocrap breaking the mold. "did you notice Reggie quits on the same day these rumors come out?????" Eerie. Except he's not quitting today, he's leaving on April 15th, and his position isn't vacant, he already announced his successor. But hey, don't want to question Dynocrap's source. I don't even want to be near Dynocrap's source. LOL
  18. Microsoft's CEO ordered Phil Spencer to show up at Sony's and Nintendo's offices, get on his knees, and beg.
  19. I have quote from AMD's CEO from Jan 9 of this year: Remember, from a manufacturing standpoint, they would have to have a product developed, finalized, TESTED in order for it to go into manufacturing. And a Microsoft product releasing in 2020 would have to begin manufacturing by late 2019. Mind you, that AMD CEO could be talking about Raytracing for the GPU, but a gaming console would require them to develop an APU, and they'd need to have it ready for manufacturing in under a year. So, unless the console is meant for 2021, this doesn't sound feasibl
  20. The fact that there's meetings to determine what games are allowed gives the distinct impression that Nintendo has the leverage. But, it still begs to reason..........what's in it for Nintendo? Sure, it could help Switch sales, but that's a little too vague of an assumption. They could make some money by getting a small cut of GamePass revenue, but Nintendo doesn't really need that money. Nintendo would ask for something in return. For example, favors such as Microsoft releasing the Scalebound IP, have Rare giving back the Diddy Kong Racing ip.
  21. I like how none of them can even talk about the screens in any detail, about how its different.
  22. he somehow found a way to direct the conversation back to me, again. LOL
  23. Nope, I still know that this is an NPD thread. Here, let me give you an example.........the Xbox is failing. Let me know when you stop talking about me.
  24. Nope, only one us has continually brought up the fact that this is an NPD thread. Still talking about me, I guess. Let me know when you're done. LOL
