There's the sense that they are Madden'ing the development process and re-using stuff. I was watching the intro to NFS Hot Pursuit 2 Holy shit! Racing games had personality back then. People were hyped to play them.

That's not bad. The reason why GoW has more GOTY awards than Breath of the Wild is because it had tougher competition in 2017. Breath of the Wild had to compete against Super Mario Odyssey.

Square clearly had to some concessions to get the full game in there. But I found some ps4 footage to compare a couple of parts. This is a cutscene when you enter that palace area, but you can see that the Switch is going to have a shorter draw distance for characters and certain objects. But the got the main environment down, with maybe some small concessions in lighting. The lighting seems to be coming in from the left in the switch, but from the back in the PS4 screen. Weren't people saying that the Switch version was just going to be based on the 3DS version?

Kamiya was embezzling Microsoft's (and the lemmings) money and he didn't deliver anything but a 4 minute demo over the course of two years. And now they've announce a brand new game for Switch, and its going to come out in 6.5 months from TODAY, the very opposite how they treated the lemmings with Cancelbound. As far as I'm concerned.................the lemmings PAID for the development of this Switch exclusive.

Is that true? The PS4 version doesn't do that? And wasn't this supposed to be a modified looking game? It seems like they're doing the whole game world as the PS4 version.

I don't think Astral Chains is Kamiya's game. I'd say that Wonderful 102 is still in development. They've actually given more teases for a Wonderful game back in 2017/2018 than they have with Bayo 3.

Mario Maker 1 sold 3.5 million copies in 8 months for the Wii U. And mind you that was back in 2015. The Wii U may not have had more than 10 million units at the time the game released. This game is going to sell to a significant chunk of the userbase.

If the in-game character models already look like the animated cutscenes, why not just make elaborate cutscenes using in-engine assets? Or are they doing it out of habit from previous games?

They did exactly what they needed to do in order to justify a sequel. Anything short of that, and I think there would be some loud complaints. Some people may demand fully 3D level design, but that would be more complicated on a whole nother level.

I think that's bullshit. I think Nintendo needs to offer Metroid Prime Trilogy this year, and sell it at a reduced price, and they should take the multiplayer modes from the second game and expand that into its own online and local multiplayer. $30.

Yeah, it could be free. Netflix and Hulu operates free on the Switch. And at no point did you ever CONFIRM that it would have a cut. Its important that you confirm that, Remij. lol

You guys did notice that for like 90% of everything they showed there, they said those games would be "Summer 2019", or in June or July of 2019. One third party game was in the Fall. And Link's Awakening is simply listed as "2019" so that probably means during the second of the year.
