If there was going to be a PS5, they would have to announce games and third-parties preparing games for that new console. They would NEED to be at E3, to assist showing off those games for third-parties. If they announce a PS5 after June (hence skipping E3), that would be a bit silly because they wouldn't have enough time to market a product arriving in less than 4-5 months. If they announce a PS5 before E3, they'd probably be expected to SHOW games running on the new hardware at E3.

When you book floor space at a trade show, you have to commit to paying for that floor space months in advance. This is especially true for the companies that are requesting the best spots on the floor (Sony, Nintendo). In many cases, you need to begin that process immediately AFTER the end of the current year's trade show. So I would be at the Moscone Center in July at our industry trade show, and on DAY ONE of the show, I have an appointment to book the space for NEXT YEAR's show, and I have to put a down payment, and everything has to be paid off by November.

even though i haven't caught up with always sunny for many seasons, i do catch the best scenes from almost every season. yeah i watched this. that was great. i loved how he really was acting his ass off as he was dancing, he had this intense broken-hearted look on his face. In many ways, this is like a more intense version of the Day Man musical.
