Third message and no source yet.

No, we get it. You want to take was MS says at face value, after they've been caught lying many times.

And you somehow want to think that other people don't know what they're talking about. That's lovely. Need that reaffirmation.

    Your source?

I even gave you comparison services that are being rumored of doing this exact thing.

And we have a history of Microsoft lying about numbers in public until they had to legally disclose them.

Remember when the CMA was happening, Microsoft sent out an Exec in Britain to show a gigantic pie chart in which they finally admitted that Xbox consoles only sell 20% of PS5s?

These guys hide numbers until they absolutely have no other choice.

GamePass may use Azure servers, therefore they could roll over those costs into the Azure division, thus lowering operating costs.

Halo infinite had 20 million. At least 50% were F2P, obviously.

    No they weren't

Steam is EVEN BIGGER THAN XBOX's PC storefront, this goes without saying.

Halo Infinite was on both Xbox PC Storefront and Steam.

    We already know Steam's numbers.

Xbox console version wasn't even the highest played game that year.

You're not addressing any of these points............because you can't

    Because you're wrong.

Go and find those 10 million+ numbers

    Or you lose the argument

No, I said halo multiplayer was f2p.

you said OVER HALF............OVER TEN MILLION, of those players in Microsoft's 4-week "players" that totaled 20 million.

    ...............was on F2P

    Go and find them.

You have nothing:kaz:I mean that in the sense of this argument.............and the fact that you OWN NO CONSOLES, as well.:kaz:

So 10 million players, average of 200k on steam… and you think “most players are on steam” :tom:

:tom:It wasn't the most highest played game on Xbox that year.

And that list includes Xbox One play usage.

Oh my god, he's losing this argument, hard.:lawl:

You think Halo Infinites popularity peaked in 2023? :kaz:

On Steam, Halo Infinite's multiplayer launched big with a peak of 270,000 concurrent players, making it the most-played Xbox Game Studios title of all time. But that figure has dwindled, with a recent 24-hour peak of 31,950 concurrent players.

    Testimony sweetie.

I love how you're not saying anything remotely of substance, nor backing it up with anything concrete.

They can absolutely mislead about revenue in their disclosures to the government, because the government will not go through the entirety of Microsoft's financials.

And make no mistake, they ARE misleading and hiding the true costs of Xbox in their accounting.

    Something occurred to me...

Whether Xbox goes all digital, or makes a price cut, what ever happens they lose. So I don't see any point especially if they don't have Activision.

their plans are to do a mid-gen refresh Xbox Series X 2TB next year in 2024............for $500, still. Not even a fucking price cut

And the original Xbox Series X, the ONLY PIECE OF HARDWARE with a disc drive, is going to be "end of life" meaning they will not manufacture anymore.

They're basically telling major publishers who sell $70 games at retail "don't bother making games for our platform, anymore."

I said Phil spencer said it's profitable...

The graphs show they are profitable,

No, the graphs don't show full financials of all the companies and where their expenditures go.

Are you stupid, or have a short memory?

Because I already addressed what they are doing in the first post I made.

You're combining a graph that shows NO FULL disclosure of the company...........and combining it with a completely empty statement from a known public liar.

And you're acting as if those two pieces of evidence make a convincing argument.
