Downloaded this over the weekend. Game plays really smoothly until you hit the open world areas. Those run pretty shitty. That being said, I don't think I "get it". I know it's a grind, but there are so many little hurdles to upgrading your character that I'm not sure this is my thing.

Avanetti's sort of like a smarter Anthony Scaramucci. He gets credit for bringing down Michael Cohen (and given Cohen's impending guilty plea, that's a big fucking get right there), but he's still...well, it's pretty obvi he was just the right type of jackass at the right time.

There's no way this game doesn't have environmental puzzles. They're a staple of classic RE.

There's a fantastic mini-doc about how High Voltage Software almost made Splatoon due to their work on The Conduit. Gameplay-wise, too. It was basically the GOAT era for turn-based RPGs. Just enough complexity in the battle systems without bogging everything down into a boring fucking slog. FFT and Vagrant Story haven't really been topped.

Look on the bright side: you can buy the system, gut it, put a raspberry pi 3 or something in there with a PS1 emulator or some shit. I dunno. Someone, somewhere will figure out a workable build and put a tutorial online for you.
