Nah, it was worse. That game was fuckin' horrible.

Ninja Gaiden II. 360 version is the best version, Sigma 2 is basically a different game because it changed so much.

Played a few hours of Souldiers, been sitting on the backburner for a while. Its a Metroidvania where you choose between 3 different classes (Scout, Archer, or Mage). Each class plays different enough so there's some replayability in that regard. I gotta' say the game has amazing sprite work, the game just has a very nice art direction all around. Difficulty spikes are nuts though. Game can get pretty dickish.

Also picked up Sword and Fairy Together Forever during this recent PSN sale so I messed around with that for a little bit. It's a solid Action RPG. Pretty standard stuff for the most part but it's all executed well enough. Translation can get a bit rough in some spots but it doesn't detract too much. It can be a little buggy as well but nothing too serious. Definitely worth checking out at $25.

Creative tech. Wonder why he hasn't endured and evolved to this day.

Ehh, it's alright. Short game so it doesn't overstay its welcome. Basically underwater Journey so the main draw is the art direction because the gameplay is paper thin.

Didn't care for the first one.

I'd be fine with them reworking the backgrounds in the Remaster. The models were great but those backgrounds were rough. Oh, and update the Trophy list. Some of those trophies are bullshit (fuck that Jump Rope trophy).

I haven't touched CoD in over a decade. 

I played this game. Hell, I platinumed it. 

Game had massive class balance issues, the Technomancer class was soooo much better than the other classes. Devastator and Pyromancer were trash. Absolute trash. Trickster was fun but nowhere near being able to compete with Technomancer. So you have 4 classes but there's really only 1 class.

The endgame also isn't kind to solo play so if you wanted to play solo you'd end up having to deal with annoying bullshit (very tanky enemies and instant kill nonsense). This ends up making you feel forced to co-op but the netcode was shit so then you had to deal with network bullshit. 

Saw this on the PSN store and noticed it had the PSVR tag. Didn't know it was a VR game.

They get new voice actors? Everyone sounds different. Akihiko really stands out, Liam O'  Brien's voice is very distinct and that definitely ain't him.

Nice.

Quake 2 was my first experience with online multi-player. Ahh, the sweet 56k memories.

Haven't cared for Inti Creates since the Mega Man Zero series. This studio just refuses to try something new and is perfectly content with making 2D Action/Platformers forever.

Also, Gamespot gave FF XIII an 8.5 and FF XV an 8.

.... Just saying.

August can't come soon enough. Probably my most anticipated game of the year, been on my radar since it was announced. Eiyuden is also suppose to be dropping this year too.

FF 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6? I don't remember any black characters in those games.

FF 7 had Barret and FF 8 had Kiroz or whatever his name was.

I don't remember any black characters in FF 9 or FF 10. 

FF  11 and FF 14 are MMOs so I dont consider them mainline games. SE can try to claim them to be all they want, they're not mainline games.

FF 12 had that one Captain dude and FF 14 had Sazh.

Don't remember any black characters in FF 15.

Man, I tried playing that recently and I just couldn't get into it. Dunno if it's a good game to slowly chip away at though, the story seemed very involved from the little bit that I played so you might end up forgetting important details.
