I have it but haven't touched it. Elden Ring's bland open world pretty much killed any desire to want to play through another open world game for a while.

Oh, there were plenty of games I've enjoyed but objectively most of them had glaring flaws. I tend to be more objective than most when it comes to "Best _" Lists. Now if the question was asking "Favorite Games of the Year" then it'd be a lot easier to think of 10 games because that's a list that's very subjective by nature.

Neither could I. The few times I've tried to watch it and I'm just staring at my screen with my head tilted thinking, "This is suppose to be funny, right?"

The AC in Japan has been the game I have been waiting for since the end of AC1. Feel like it's too late now though, lost interest in the series a long time ago. Oh wait, I forgot I played AC Unity. That one was pretty good but that's a classic AC game. The new AC games are just Witcher 3 knockoffs.

I don't think I can even list 5, let alone 10. I've played a lot of games but most of them aren't good enough for me to put on a "Best Game" list. A lot of them fall in the 6-7 rating area. I mean, my pick for GoTY would probably be FF: Stranger of Paradise but that game is like a 7.5, maybe a generous 8. My list would be more like "Here are 10 games that didn't suck".

You didn't even add all the indie games that are coming too. There's quite a few of them that I plan to pick up: Gestalt Steam and Cinder, The Last Faith, Bushinden, Eastern Exorcist, Wanted Dead, Sacrifire, Sea of Stars, The Awakener Risen, Trinity Trigger, Eiyuden Chronicles, Lost Soul Aside, Phantom Hellcat, and plus a fuck ton more. First half of 2023 is looking ridiculous, if the games deliver then we're looking at potentially one of the best years for gaming in a while. Maybe even an all-time great year.

I always end up getting the Slim models of PS products so I guess I'll just wait for the PS5 Slim. I mean, I've waited this long to get a PS5, what's a couple more months at this point?

Looked even blander than the first one from the trailer I saw. And the first one wasn't exactly setting a high bar to begin with. I'll probably end up watching it on Bluray somewhere down the line though, ain't no way I'm paying to see this in a theater. Yeah. Maps are over with quick, on average your clear time will be like 2 minutes. So you can play it in bursts if you want, I played it a lot when I'd be on my breaks at work.

Speaking of mobile games, I got pretty addicted to Path to Nowhere for like 3 weeks. Really fun game and the gacha aspect is pretty damn generous. The character balance is really good too. You got three tiers- S rank, A rank and B rank but rank doesn't really matter that much, some of the best units in the game are actually B ranks. The combat is a fun twist on your typical Tower Defense game. Instead of being stationary you can move your units around and some maps get pretty creative forcing you to really take advantage of the games mobility. Honestly my only problem w

It sucks. I had a feeling it would but my nostalgia for the series was making me hold onto a little optimism for this game. Oh well, I might still pick it up on a deep sale just out of curiosity.

This is a multi-billion dollar franchise, it's made more money than Star Wars. Theres literally no excuse for such lackluster entries besides lack of talent, lack of vision, and lack of passion. It's just pure laziness and no motivation to even try to do better. Just hand the series off to someone else. Gamefreak clearly doesn't give a shit and only cares about doing the bare minimum for maximum profit.

I feel like the jump from PS4 to PS5 is smaller than the jump from PS3 to PS4.
