Ehh, the movies are alright.

My pick goes to the John Wick trilogy. 

Looks like that extra year paid off, game looks better for it. Environments still look whack though but I'm not sure if that's intentional or just lack of expertise. Maybe even a bit of both?

FF 7 gets it's fame for being the first game in the series that many people played. The game itself really isn't anything special in the gameplay department and I actually think 4, 5, and 6 are better than 7 and those games came before FF 7. A lot of the things that FF 7 brought to the table isn't even gameplay related stuff, it's all story presentation stuff.

FF 7 itself has a lot of problems in the gameplay department, a detail many die hard fans of 7 tend to completely ignore.

And this is why devs want to have guest characters in Smash.

Jimbo is the kind of dude that can have a full conversation with himself and I wouldn't think it was weird at all. I'm just so desensitized to his behavior.

Still on the fence if that's a good or bad thing.

Stuff like this makes me wonder why MS just doesn't fully commit to being third party next gen. 

Ehh, not so sure about that. Jon Snow was brought back by the Lord of Light and he clearly has a much larger purpose than just beating the White Walkers. These past few seasons have shown that he's the one guy who can truly bring people together and once word gets out about his real identity... 

I think being King is his real purpose, beating the White Walkers was a secondary objective. 

NK and Bran are powered from similar sources. That's their connection and is why whenever Bran goes into Godview mode NK can sense him. NK marked Bran so that he can be able to pinpoint Bran's exact location. 

This past episode even demonstrated this.

Bran went into Godview mode in order to lure NK to come to him. NK was just chilling on his dragon, he had no intention of making a move until he knew exactly where Bran was. Once Bran warged into the ravens to reveal himself the NK went STRAIGHT to Bran because he now knew exactly where Bran was.

No idea why people are obsessed with understanding the Night King/Night Walkers goal and objectives. They're living weapons. That's all they've ever been presented as. They're not "people".

They literally told you what the NK's purpose for hunting Bran was in the last episode. The NK wants to wipe out humanity, and I mean a complete wipe out. Bran is basically a living encyclopedia for the entire human races history. The NK doesn't just want to kill all of humanity, he wants to erase every trace of humanity's existence. 

This is what happens when you let yourself go down the rabbit hole for no damn reason... You end up getting convinced that things are suppose to happen even though there was no real basis for these things to happen to begin with.

The Netherealm games have always set the bar high when it comes to SP content. Their games never really fail to deliver on that front so not really surprised to see MK 11 continue the trend.

Gears is up to 6 games in the series already? Holy shit... LOL

Game library is really the only thing I'm concerned about. I don't mind waiting a year or two until the system has a pretty healthy game library. I don't like waiting for games to come out, I like knowing that once I beat a game I can immediately play something else.

Oh, I already own both games.

I bought Persona 5 the same week that I bought Nier so I've owned Persona for awhile. I've kept putting the game off to play though because of it's length. Then after awhile I just kind of forgot I even owned the game... LOL

Tales of Berseria or Persona 5?

Life isn't that busy at the moment so I can afford to play a game with some length.

Yeah, the whole crypt thing was way too obvious. The scene with the little girl really drove it home that shit was going to go down in the crypt.

Bran and Night King's only connection is that they're both drawing power from the same source. Don't really think it's any more to it than that but I guess people just like falling down the rabbit hole.

They already shown that the Night King is just the first White Walker ever created. He was created to be a weapon for the Children of the Forest but they couldn't control him.
