  1. Anja, stop being a prick and just give me the damn Plate already... I've been farming this guy for the past few hours non-stop. I've killed him about 15 times now and have captured him about the same amount. Neither method seems to matter. I'm getting everything BUT the Plate... I got Flame Sacs for days though. I'm about to just say fuck it and start blowing through Vouchers because this is getting ridiculous.
  2. When the fuck did I say mashing doesn't exist? I already said mashing does exist. What you seem to be missing is this very important detail- it doesn't happen to the extent in this game that you seem to think it does. In other words, since you're a fuckin' idiot and need me to dumb it down for you, the majority of players AREN'T mashing. I even explained WHY mashing isn't a common occurance. The game is easy to learn. The execution barrier is very low. The characters all control the same. These factors and many more contribute to the game being easy to PLAY. Therefore, casual playe
  3. I swear you only read a few words and are completely oblivious to main message... JFC, do I need to use pictures and smaller words for you to get the point? You know what, nevermind... It's just easier to call you a fuckin' idiot and be done with this pointless conversation.
  4. Not getting prissy at all, just annoyed. You're arguing over something you're completely ignorant about. DBZ, unlike every other fighting game, has an extremely LOW execution barrier. It is by far one of the easiest fighting games for a casual to just jump in and play. There are no DP inputs, you want to do a DP, just push Down+Heavy Attack. It's the same for every character. The only inputs in this game are Quarter Circle Forward and Quarter Circle back. It's the same for every character. Even every character's combo routes are the same. You learn the basic combo route
  5. I've played a lot more than 40 matches. It's probably over 100 by now. Besides, even if it was only 40 matches, that would still be 40 matches more than you. You haven't played the game at all, YOU are the one who should shut the fuck up. The game is not complicated or even hard to learn. You're severely overestimating how difficult this game is for a casual player. Of course you wouldn't be doing this if you actually, you know, played the damn game.
  6. Except there's not. Majority of players are doing L-L-M-M-H-H variations (which is as basic as it gets but it still gets you far more damage than a straight up auto-combo). Only time you really see players doing auto-combos is for the first sequence, some characters first chunk of an auto-combo is actually legit, ex-Trunks. Beerus has a very hard to deal with auto-combo sequence that gets abused a lot online (he does a cross-up overhead that can be very hard to react to). After the first sequence of the auto-combo is done everybody free styles from that point. You haven't played th
  7. Casual matches work fine. It's Ranked matches that don't work. Ring matches are a bitch to get going but once you get them working they're pretty stable. Mashing on auto-combos is not an effective strategy at all. A player who knows what they're doing is going to win every time. I'm merely pointing out to you that relying on auto-combos to get Dragon Balls is not a winning strategy. You will lose before you even get close to gathering all 7 Dragon Balls. Besides, I've played like 50 matches at this point and have spectated about the same. I have yet to see Shenron get s
  8. You get Dragon Balls for doing a lot of shit, not just auto-combos. Besides, that would be a terrible strategy to rely on anyways. Auto-combos average around 1.7k damage, a basic manual combo can easily do twice that. You can pump that damage up even higher with a more advanced combo. A person using only auto-combos will lose simply because they're not going to keep up in the damage race.
  9. Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and give you the heads up now. Do NOT get in the habit of using auto-combos. You can do far more damage if you actually learn combos. An average characters auto-combo will do about 1.7k. You can easily get twice that with a basic manual combo.
  10. If you guys want to wait until the shit gets patched then I honestly wouldn't blame you. Don't get me wrong, the game IS fun, a lot of fun actually. When you can actually get some games going you're almost willing to forgive the game for it's problems because you're having fun. But then the game shits the bed and you're like, "Oh, that's right, I almost forgot. You don't like to fuckin' work..."
  11. So DBZ has a game crashing bug. You get Quests you can do, little things that the game asks you to do to earn some Zeni (in-game currency you use to buy colors/items/other shit). Most of the time the Quests are simple shit like "Join a Rank Match", "Do a Battle Tutorial", "Play Arcade", etc. However, after you've done of few of these Quests you'll get a Quest that is simply named "Text Block". If you click on it the game will straight up crash. If you hover over it you'll see the display box show nothing but Japanese in the description. LOL... This fuckin' game man.
  12. So the only good thing the busted online in DBZ has done for me is give me more time to mess around with system mechanics and figure stuff out. I've been messing around with characters as well. Originally I didn't think Adult Gohan was good, I was even thinking about dropping him but not anymore. After an extensive amount of time messing around with him- holy shit, this character is fuckin' stupid. I legit think he's bugged. For some dumb reason his 2L has like zero damage scaling. Pop into Mystic, turn on Sparkling, and he can do 5k combos off a fuckin' 2L WITHOUT meter. Burn some
  13. Online is busted as fuck. Servers keep shitting themselves, can't stay in a lobby for longer than 20 minutes before you get disconnected. I've lost connection during 3 matches now. I've only played 5 total matches... No way to invite friends or create a private room either. The only thing you can do is set up a Ring Match and have it password protected but the system flat out doesn't work. Every time you try to join the room you get a "No room found" error. We tried switching around who was host, tried password/no password, tried different settings, nothing worked. Namco Bandai ha
  14. Damn near half of that death count is from Russia. Even the Holocaust killed like 11 million. That's 40 million right there and we haven't even got to the other countries involved in WW2.
  15. Battle Chasers Nightwar. Cool game with a really fun combat system but holy shit these difficulty spikes are ridiculous. I know that was one of the main complaints about the game but I just assumed they wouldn't be that bad. I was wrong. Very wrong. It makes me wonder if the developers even understand what proper tuning and balancing actually is because skewing the systems to be heavily against the player is not even close to being correct. You literally have no choice but to grind here and there to slightly tip the scales and you're not even tipping the scales to be in
  16. I didn't buy a Xbox until Ninja Gaiden came out, I bought them both on the same day. The Xbox came with the Controller S at that point so I've never actually touched The Duke. Looks uncomfortable TBH.
  17. Horizon comes to mind. Never felt like I was too strong or too weak at any point during my playthrough.
  18. Never had a problem with wolves despite what other people experienced. It was random groups of bandits I find to be the most dangerous. No matter what gear you have or the level difference between you and them, they're always going to hit hard as a truck. Even when I was like 15 levels stronger than them with Superior grade Witcher gear equipped they could still potentially kill me in 2-3 hits. Very weird, I think they have to be bugged or something because there is no way this is intentional.
  19. About to wrap up my Death March playthrough in Witcher 3. It was only tough in the beginning, once you hit around level 15 and start equipping Witcher gear I didn't even notice the difficulty anymore. Alchemy is stupid good, it's no wonder so many people rock a Combat/Alchemy build. It's an easy mode build.
  20. I hated Raid mode in Rev 2. Rev 1's Raid mode is so much better.
  21. So on a whim I downloaded The Evil Within 2 trail version and I just have to say this to all you other developers out there- THIS is how you do a demo. The demo lets me play up to around the mid-point of Chapter 3, there is plenty of stuff to do. There's a good five hours of content here and I got a real good taste of the gameplay. Anyways, by the time I got to the end of the demo I was impressed by what I experienced. It just so happens that the game was on sale right now too so I immediately bought the full version. I feel like the game was already worth the 30 bucks I just spent on it and I
  22. Ahh, sounds like the game is keeping you on a leash. That would create an annoying feeling.
  23. Well, if you're still playing it after 13 hours then there's apparently something you like about the game or you're at least intrigued by something that makes you want to continue playing.
