  1. Yeah, if you come from other fighters then trying to jump into Injustice is jarring. It was especially rough for me because I've been playing BB and Persona before I jumped into Injustice. Transitioning from those games to Injustice was brutal, you can't rely on fundamentals that you've acquired from other fighters to help ease that transition either. This game has it's own rules that are different from the standard that is placed in other fighters so it was very much like learning how to play a fighting game for the first time again.
  2. I barely made it a little further than that. The game just isn't fun or interesting at all with it's uninspired gameplay.
  3. I think I'm getting addicted to Injustice which is kind of weird because there's soooo much wrong with the game IMO. For starters, jumping attacks are way too strong since anti-airs suck dick in this game, they rarely beat out jump attacks and 99% of the time they get flat out beat. The whole point of an anti-air attack is to beat air attacks, hence why it's called an ANTI-air. I don't know what the hell these things are but they sure as hell aren't anti-airs. Why they don't have any invulnerability frames is beyond me. Seriously, anti-airs having some kind of invulnerability frames is
  4. Yup, but there's some actual depth to the gameplay which is shocking since his games tend to be shallow on the gameplay side of things.
  5. Tried out Injustice. I hate this game's buffer system or should I say lack of one. You gotta' mash to get combos to come out a lot of times, makes it really hard to hit-confirm into something if you're doing what you would do in every other fighting game (poking until you get a hit and then confirm into a combo). Can't really do that in this game, you pretty much have to commit to your button presses.
  6. The more I play P4A the more I notice it's very, VERY scrub friendly. You can get away with a lot of dumb ass shit is in this game.
  7. Stop trolling this thread, bro. He's talking about TLOU, bro. Oh, thought he was referring to Alan Wake but the point still stand anyways. No it doesn't, TLOU is the GOTG. ... Right.

  9. That's fine. I just started playing it again here and there after not touching it for a year so I'm really out of form. Basically have to relearn the game.
  10. It got Xbox'd. It was originally supposed to be an open world game and all that jazz (you can actually see traces of this in some of the levels) but the xbox struck again! No, Remedy just made a bland and boring game that was more about showcasing it's tech instead of being a well designed and entertaining game. This becomes completely obvious after spending an hour with the game. Xbox had nothing to do with Alan Wake sucking, Remedy just isn't that good of a developer.
  11. They're awkward. Really awkward especially if you're coming straight from BB. I had to reassign the face buttons to BB's layout because the default layout felt way too foreign but in doing that I completely changed the way you have to do dual button inputs. Speaking of which, do you have BB CSEX? If so we should get some games in sometime.
  12. Ugh, I hate these controls. A- Weak Attack B- Strong Attack C- Persona Weak Attack D- Persona Strong Attack Simple enough, right? Wrong. Let's throw in the other commands: A+B- All Out Attack (Basically GG's Dust attack; a universal Overhead/Sweep) A+B- Skill Boost Input C+D- Throw C+D- Skill Boost Input A+C- Evasive Action B+D- Furious Attack (A universal "dragon punch" unique to each character) A+B+C- One More Cancel A+C+D- Burst It's a clusterfuck. Good luck finding a control scheme that'll be comfortable to use.
  13. Persona 4 Arena. The controls for this game are compounded as hell, this is easily the worst control configuration I've seen for any fighting game. Remapping buttons does little to alleviate the issue just for the simple fact there are tons of dual button inputs required for multiple commands so it's really hard to find an ideal button set-up that will allow you to do all of these commands comfortably. In their attempt to make a simple control scheme they've ended up making it needlessly complex and aggravating. I can't play the game for more than thirty minutes before I turn the game off out
  14. BlazBlue. LOL, don't play the game for a year and come back to it and now everyone is a freakin' expert. Getting my ass handed to me so bad I literally feel like I'm playing the game wrong.
  15. lmfao, a 20 dollar ue3 game you can beat in a few hours? Screw them should be $5,who are they kidding? none of my arguments pertaining to mighty no 9 had anything to do with length talk about grasping for straws. I was actually parodying your flipout to Gone Home. Lol haven't I schooled you enough on Mighty No.9? outlast would have no trouble blending in with the average triple A $60 blockbuster. gone home on the other hand is less advanced than your average escape the room ios game. so yeah, its laughably overpriced in comparison. lmfao this
  16. The last TR game that came out before the UC series started is pretty much UC lite. Not as many people played it though so nobody really realizes that. Underworld was great and is NOTHING like Uncharted. GTFO with dat nonsense. Underworld was CD finding a perfect mix between TR Legends and TR Anniversary's gameplay. The only thing that held Underworld back were the bugs and glitches.
  17. Tomb Raider. If it wasn't for Lara Croft constantly being on the screen I would swear I was playing an Uncharted game. This isn't a reboot, this is a straight up clone...
  18. Still playing RE Revelations Raid mode. Just need to Trinity Bonus 4 more Abyss stages and Ghost Ship. Abyss 16 though... I don't think it's possible to do it solo. Hell, I don't think it's possible to do it with a partner. That level is insane.
  19. I swear the RNG in RE Revelations loves to troll. Just did a Ghost Ship run and got a Level 49 M40A1 with 4 slots but with a Short Range tag and a Level 50 Drake with 6 slots but a Long Range tag thus making both weapons completely useless. And of course a lot of useless Bottomless Pouches parts, because you know, I only have like 20 of each of these so I obviously need more...
  20. Radiant Historia is godlike, hands down the best JRPG released in decades. It's the closest we'll ever get to a real Chrono Trigger sequel. I fuckin' love that game. Anyways, don't worry about holding onto equipment. Just buy the new stuff when it becomes available in the shops and you'll be fine.
  21. Fuck the haters, RE Revelations owns. Raid Mode is godlike, I seriously can't stop playing it. Capcom needs to release a RE game with nothing but Raid and Mercenary modes. Don't even bother making a campaign, I wouldn't play it anyways.
  22. Been playing RE Revelations. Don't get the hate, the game is pretty good IMO.
  23. Ha, this was pretty cool even if some of the mechanics felt a little unfinished. Anyways, just beat AC3. As a fan of this series I must say this game is really bad. The ridiculously drawn out beginning is terrible. There was absolutely no reason for this to drag on this long, the game doesn't officially start until you hit Sequence 6- which is the halfway point of the game. To make matters worse the last two Sequences feel rushed and the climax felt so unrewarding it actually diminishes the story of the entire series. There's just so much that bothers me about this game but I don't fee
