  1. I really liked it, it's just too long a game to support the variety of combat the game offers. You end up getting really strong and nothing really changes about the gameplay. The AI is pretty bad and the environments just don't look good. It's like WoW world design. Great game but i think it deserved it's AA status. I'm starting to see how that can be a problem. I keep getting more and more sidequests, there's just no end to them. Still having fun with the game but it's starting to have moments where it feels like a chore to play.
  2. Kingdom of Amalur. This game is honestly pretty good, it's very easy to get sidetracked in this game because there is soooo much to do. The combat is fun and is pretty similar to Dragon's Dogma actually. Wonder why this game wasn't more popular? I guess it's title doesn't do it any favors, it's generic as hell and even kind of misleading with the Reckoning subtitle. It kind of leaves you to believe the game is a series and there are more of them.
  3. Ah, cool. You basically got two games in one. The title update that you can download for free is essentially Continuum Shift 2 which is IMO the best version out of the BlazBlue series. wait the one i got is two games in one, not the extend one? do any of yous know what the online community is like (as in size wise)? also how balanced is the game, as in is there any characters i should steer clear of maining? i kinda wanna pick noel If you got the console version of BlazBlue Continuum Shift then yea, it's two games in one. You got Continuum Shift on the disc and downloadin
  4. Fighting game from arc system works. Same dudes who made Persona 4: Arena. That's about all I know about it Random video i found just now: Kaqn I can recognize his Ragna from anywhere, the dude pretty much wrote the book on how to play Ragna.

  6. The gifting system in DD is garbage. Just tried to give a friend some gear I'm not going to be using anymore and all he got were rocks. So all of that gear I tried to give him is now gone, I didn't get it back and he didn't receive it, it's just straight up gone. The whole process of gifting is retarded in design as well, there are like a million ways they could've streamlined this process but it's like they went out of their way to find the most clunky and obnoxious way possible.
  7. Use my main pawn, he's good at healing and buffing up the party Playing it on PS3. :( I want more damage though, everything just takes forever to die and there's no changes in attack patterns or anything to spice up a 30-minute fight. WTF? What level are you, like 40? I was steam rolling through bosses and other endgame enemies like they were nothing when I was level 60-70 and with average gear. Now I'm WAAAY overleveled and am looking for all kinds of ways to get some kind of a challenge back. I'm killing Cyclops with just three rounds of Fivefold Fury straight to the

  9. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen has earned a spot on my 'Top 10 Games for this Gen' list. Game has problems, sure, but holy fuck is the core game fun. Capcom needs to skip on Deep Down and start getting to work on Dragon's Dogma 2.
  10. That's a lot of good loot just sitting there waiting to be used.
  11. Yea, pretty much. It's like playing L4D alone, of course the experience is going to be very meh if you go in solo. Borderlands is designed to be a co-op game.
  12. Enemies have set levels that's determined by the area they're in, there is no level scaling until playthrough 2. then i guess i must suck, because im dying a fuckload. enemies seem to be able to take out my shield in a split second, and half the time that happens i don't even know who or what did it. You need to upgrade your gear. This game is less about levels and more about gear.

  14. Messing around with the Hybrid vocations and I got to say Assassin is pretty overpowered. Mystic Knight is pretty good as well because of all the nice buff spells, I see why a lot of people go with it. As for Magick Archer, ehh, it kind of sucks.
  15. Siren is a late bloomer. Assassin is a favorite, lots of very effective builds that cover different playstyles. Commando is pretty straight forward but effective. Gunzerker can be the best by far if equipped with the right gear and built right. The first half of the game is going to be very boring though, it's all about the end game goal. Mechromancer is silly fun.
  16. I'm really digging this game, the combat is a lot of fun. Now if only someone could put this game's combat system into Dark Souls we'd have a damn near perfect RPG.
  17. Not by default, a few of the vocations have a dodge/block/brief invulnerability window unlocked through ranking up and buying the core skill. Strider gets a dodge at 5 that's used by hitting R1+X (PS3), I'm not sure when other vocations get their equivalent. Well, that sucks. Whose smart idea was it to have a basic and standard mechanic found in damn near every game be a skill you have to unlock? Having a dodge would be very useful right about now, II keep getting mauled by a pack of wolves. I don't think I'm suppose to be venturing this far off yet. Yeah in the beginning you'll get raped con
  18. The song that plays on the title screen is catchy as hell BTW.
  19. Well I just eliminated any difficulty in this game. Why does this game let me summon pawns that are over level 25? I've just been sitting back and let them do all the work. It's FFXII all over again, the game is playing itself.
