The gameplay was quite barebones, that the motion finishers helps masquerade that. The analog sticks actually makes it look more trivial.

The game is fucking godly. Best JRPGs in decades. Even excellent games like Persona 5 and Valkyria Chronicles 4 aren't as good. Although I preferred the story/characters in those games, gameplay wise DQXI is just better.

107 hours for the plat and I don't regret any minute of it. In comparison, I was begging for P5 to end when I hit the 80+ hours mark.

No voice acting and cutscenes in a NMH game. 

Looks way better.

When I first saw Travis Strikes Again I thought it was footage from a minigame and not the actual game...

Remember when NMH didn't look like amateur hour with a shitty over the top view? Yeah, me too.

Suda simply isn't interested in high-polygon character models. Yet I didn't see go out of your way to complain that much when that game came out.

NMH 1 and 2 were pretty nice looking games for the Wii. Other Grasshopper games like Shadows of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw looked great too. 

Let It Die looks better than this, but it didn't look great either. 

You don't know what you're talking about, sorry for holding Grasshopper Manufacture to higher standards.

Suda had already hinted that he is working towards NMH3 for the Switch, this game is meant to be a side-story.

It doesn't look good by any metric.

Looks like fucking garbage. 4:3 aspect ratio with borders, one joycon gameplay to allow for local multiplayer with two joycons, absolute shit graphics (looks worse than NMH1 and 2), over the top view camera.

I'm so disappointed. A real NMH sequel would have sold me on a Switch.
